I think it's because our weather has not been consistent. One day it's freezing with a chance of snow flurries. The next day it is warm and sunny and you don't even need your coat! The pansies on my front porch are exploding with color! You would think it was early Fall or something. Ha! I say....enjoy the warmer weather. People up north can't even SEE the grass or any color in their yard and probably won't for months to come.Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16938178631385143773noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7753991164004572883.post-77871778955227637762011-12-13T10:25:45.141-05:002011-12-13T10:25:45.141-05:00I am so jealous of your garden-even with most of t...I am so jealous of your garden-even with most of the leaves off =) We just moved to a colder climate, so all I see is snow right now. We used to live in an area that has weather like Seattle-wet, but relatively warm (ie not a full winter of snow). I could grow almost anything there. I've not put out many outside Christmas porch decorations, because my ferns and some pots of flowers are still lush and green. I don't have the heart to discard of them as long as they are still living! I had verbena I thought was dead from the summer heat, and it has come back and is blooming and thriving!
