I'm a little sad!~

I have to admit I am a little sad today.  Alex for the first time in his almost 13 years, has left the coop for 6 days with two of his buddies to go off to Summer camp.  I had mixed emotions the entire time home. Half of me is so excited for him knowing the fun he will have.  Then the Mother in me part is worried.  It will be pitch dark at night...there is water everywhere...and we saw a ton of spiders and poisonous mushrooms.  Many of kids survive summer camp, in fact most do I am sure.  I think there was little part of Alex that was nervous too. So tell me, did you send your kids to camp?  Did they love it? Were you worried? Just putting out some thoughts here...
