Yesterday I shared with you a recap of my favorite top diy home projects.  How about I share with you the MOST viewed posts on my blog to date! Then go on to the most commented posts.
Thanks Rosemary for the inspiration on this post!
This is not something I would have done or thought to share.

I keep this post on my sidebar and I still get a lot of views.  Perhaps you may want to put a little home tour post together of your own. Everyone loves Home tours!

Some I am not including, if they are NOT project related, etc.
I have blabbed about a lot of things and have had thought provoking coffee talks, that have also gathered a lot of thought and comments.

Some are redundant and are the same as most viewed, so I will go to the next ones...

I think this one shocked me the most...

at 90 comments on a lampshade that took me all of 5 minutes to come up with.
To think I was almost embarrassed to hit publish on this one.

I have to say this was a lot of fun digging back in my archives.
Hope you newbies of mine had fun looking back too, these are posts you have never seen before, and some of them are from my early on days of blogging.
Fun to also see my photography improve some, and my decor LOL!
This table here was a little wire rack I purchased at Walmart and spray painted it.  It did me good for the time I had it!

Winter gardens in the Carolinas! {confused state}

How about I take a break from Christmas decor for just a moment and talk about my Carolina gardens.

If you are a long time friend here, you know I certainly am NO gardener.
I do love flowers, and admire all your beautiful gardens, but I just do not have many of my own.

I will say, the few thing I have planted myself, have done well...
but this year, I am quite confused.
I walked outside this morning to water my cabbage and poinsettia plant...

Or should I say soup?  Well, anyhow, these bright red leaves on my japanese maple caught my eye...
I tell you they were not there two days ago...

In fact here is the proof, see the branches here?

And see the branches here?
First of all this tree is usually bare until late Spring...
wassup with that? or this I should say?

This tree does not know what to do?
Our weather is warm one day, cold the next...

And my arbor is in need of a serious haircut...
it has NEVER looked like this in the Winter time.
I am not complaining, I am just a non- gardener in a confused state of mind, seeking knowledge is all!

So I leave you with that...perhaps you can tell me what is happening.
This year I have had the attack of the acorns, and now the blooming Winter trees and vines.
Have a great evening.
Almost through with my shopping and wrapping. Spend the majority of the day doing that.'
I feel pretty good about it, no stress here!

Newbie party still going on HERE

Staining Furniture, versus painting, Phase II of the Outdoor Dream!

I am really going to spread this outdoor dream area out in my postings.
PHASE I HERE
It is being done all in stages and it has been so much fun and a joy to see my vision all coming together!

These are our new outdoor Adirondack rockers.  Mike is so organized when he has a project to do.
Not me, I would have had every nut and bolt all over the place!
But they would have been together, not saying they would have stayed together!

Today Mike and I spread 11 bales of pine needles around the perimeter or our new deck.  I knew I could not do away entirely without them.
I am OK with it because it still looks rustic, yet I do not have to walk and slide all over them.

I mentioned I would be having lots of color out here.
Instead of traditionally painting our chairs, we went the staining route with color
.

Spray painting I have found it chips and peels over time and just not easy to sand off when having to redo.
I am done spray painting outdoor chairs!

Finally a place for my Spanish rustic horse head!
Some people do not care for this horse head, I happen to like it, I just needed the right spot for it,
and now I do believe I found it!

We have plenty of wood for those Fall and Winter fires we plan on having!

Here is the stain brand and name of the color we used.
Mike says the chairs look like a dill pickle...
I love pickles!

After staining the chairs, we applied three coats of polyurethane.
Easy maintenance just wipe up, and perhaps yearly add a fresh coat of poly.

There is certainly more to come out here..but as you can see it is coming along nicely.
Perhaps some pretty plants and containers, mums for Fall, etc.
I can't wait to decorate!

I have a feeling we are going to make lots of fun memories out here to come...

Phase III coming soon.
Have a great night, and thank for stopping over.

Since the party started.......

Mike and I started our own little party outside on Fathers day.
I made his favorite meal, and afterwords we decided to head outdoors.
WOWZA, what a party it is so far.  This party by the end of the week will have hundreds and hundreds of links.
Here is the line up for the rest of the week.
You MAY link up here or go visit any one of these blogs when their party starts and link up there as well.
Mike chillin!

Kim is next up for outdoor patios and deck.
Well seeing I shared my day time summer deck, I thought I would share our evening party deck.
I never took evening pictures, so I thought I would try my hand at that.
LOTS of trial and error.
My bad, I had to bring the laptop outside, so I could start to blog hop.  Mike understood, and we still were able to chit chat.  If I left you a comment and there were typo's that is why...
not good at multi- tasking anymore.
Getting the tiki's going.  Believe it or not we do NOT have a huge mosquito problem back here.
In fact, never get bit, I guess they do not like me!
Fire is cooking now...
Outdoor speaker for some tunes!
Roo is looking all Relic.
Taking night time photos is practice..I have a long way to go.

And this is the patio by night....
and by Day...
Some of you gals asked me about this rug.
It is suppose to be for outdoors and I bought it at Walmart (Better Home and gardens collection), However, it went back the next day.  It retains way too much moisture and I could see it would be a problem with rain and dampness. SIGH...it really is pretty if  you have an enclosed room.

Summer love had me a BLAST! Partay is ON!

I have been a busy little bee around here.
Painting, sprucing , prepping, planting.
My gosh you would think someone important was coming over.

Well you never do know in blog land who is coming over,
so I always try to do my best.
I seemed to be loving green and blue this summer.

My Roo's all got a fresh coat of Avocado green.
Can't forget my thrift store score from last year....you can see my OPRAH video at the bottom of my blog for the before.

You may have laughed when I said I must be having someone important over.  It is true though, you never know who is lurking your blog. Just a reminder, COUNTRY WOMAN magazine spread on us will be out soon.

Speaking of BLUE...I had some chalk paint left and this piece was in sad shape.

I left it out all winter long, and thought I would try my spare chalk paint.
So far so good...
It totally brought it back to life again.

Not only is this a fun full week long Blog party girls, there are lots of giveaways too!

I am a scentsy rep and truly adore this wonderful wickless product.
I have put together a little basket for one lucky girl.

Shasta daisy plug in,
two scentsy bars, Ocean breeze, and citrus sun tea.
Coconut lemongrass hand sanitzer,
and  very cute count your blessings embroidered tea towel.
