Oh it sounds like a dream vacation to me! THanks for stopping by:)
WOW!! I love your blog! You have been busy! And you were at Ghost Town?? We are about 10 miles away! So...dream vacation???? I''m with Garden girl..we love Italy, and Spain. We've been to a lot of places but we have never been to Greece and I think we would like it there. My mom went there in the 70s and I have always wanted to go. Now, about the coffee in Italy...it is wonderful!! Luis and I were so obviously not European there because we could not just have the little espresso, we had to have double everything!! Yes the shoes are INCREDIBLE and expensive. Italy sounds so good right now!
I went on a cruise to Cancun Mexico and Key west.It wasn't my dream but it was wonderful....I want to be anywhere there is water and Mountains.
I've never Blogged before so I really don't know what I'm doing...but here goes nothing
I don't have a dream vacation that I can think of. I went to Hawaii once for about 3 and a half weeks and that was about 3 or 4 years ago now. So I can offer advice based on my opinion for anybody who wants to go there. Oahu is nice, but the best area is the North Shore. If you go to the beaches on the south part of the island you will be beaten with sand. Nothing fantastic on the south end. Honolulu is slightly crowded and Waikiki is close, but it is a crowded tourist trap. I did not have the chance to go to Maui, but I think that would be the place to go. The neighborhoods are strange because you may see million dollar homes next to homes that are run down. Cost of living there is extremely high. Oh and they have flying roaches! Totally disgusting. The people are nice for the most part, but the northwest part of the island I was told not to go there at all. Bad part of town so to speak. So I didn't! So go to North Shore if you want to go and stay there. You can go around the entire island and check it out in no time flat! All in all I did not care for being surrounded by water. I felt trapped in a way that I can't explain why. Well there is my input for anybody that may want to go to Hawaii! That's all I have!
We're going to Disneyworld, in Florida, soon!! It's one of my favourite places cause I can eat (a lot), walk (a lot too) and spend (a whole lot) my "rich" husband's money! LOL
Wonderful page, Debbiedoos! Lots of friends here!!! And fun, fun, fun!!
Dream Vaccation.. haaaa the most beautiful and relexed question it is Debbie..
I visited many places in the world, but I have a dream of a trip to Spain, its a dream world to me,I want to feel what the hostorian says about Spain,I want to see the old houses, their patios, the smell of old Spain. Its my dream to be there and roam aimlessly, just to be the part of that civilization, that history,
Thx Debbie for such a wonderful question,I was away because of vaccations, now I m here and find your blog very interesting... discuss any thing other than decor and craft:)...
Farah, I'm from Spain. I'm happy you would like to go visit my country. I haven't been there in almost... 10 years! :'-)
They had BEER (not here in Utah, USA) at McDonald's!! To drink along with your McPollo sandwich!? :-)
Farah, I just realised you're Khanz--because of your country, Pakistan, and a beautiful picture with yellow homemade flowers in your web that you also use as your avatar.
I like your garden very much! So full of beautiful flowers! Is it summer or winter in Pakistan now? Here in Utah is snow freezing!
I left, long time ago, a comment and 5 stars on your Spring Beauty Garden. I told you that your house reminds me of a Mediterranean one. If you went to Spain on your dream vacation, you would see houses similar to yours.
Ladies, I don't recognise your nicks here!!! Who is who?! :-)
I love your blog, DeBbiEdOoS, because HERE we get to know each others. We become FRIENDS. Or, at least, FRIENDLY.
Anybody has been in Disneyworld, in Florida, lately??? They were going to put Spain in Epcot Center, but they changed it for Morocco. They have Italy, if gardengirl wants to go there! :-) More expensive than going to the real country... LOL!
hello Begoluna, How are you, yes I am Khanz from RMS, yea I remember your comments on my garden and my cremal delight :)too ... I hope you made that... infact you dont have any post on RMS where I can contect you and say thx to stop by on my posts..
Spain is a world full of dreams for me,am so glad that I am talking to a Spanish..what I saw in pictures and read about Spain it gives me a feeling of a fantsy world... I love the history of Spain and am sure as you said Spain is as beautiful and colourful as flowers in my garden.
Its winter here in Pakistan, chilled winter nowadays in Islamabad where I live but no snow..
I dont know how can I contect you, I hope you will check it here.
Love
We were very fortunate to live in Germany for almost three years so we got to travel all over Europe. Right now, my dream trip is Russia! I also dream about going on an African safari. Tom won't do that one though. He is game for about anything, but he has no desire to go to Africa!
I also want to go to the Grand Canyon! I have been all over Europe, but seen very little of America!
Anita,
Greece is wonderful!!!!!!! We went on a cruise through the Greek isles. I can't even begin to describe to you how beautiful the water is there. It was one of my favorite trips!
I am lucky that my husband works for the airlines, so we can fly for really cheap! I am a real homebody, but I also LOVE to travel! Europe is my absolute favorite! Paris is just incredible. I always say that I could easily be French, as I could live on cheese, chocolate, pastries and wine! We've been to Italy, Greece, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Norway & more. Love it all! And of course I love anywhere warm & tropical. We are going to Hawaii next month. The last time we were there (4 years ago), they were having record setting rain (think flash flooding!), so hopefully this time it will be drier!
