Debbie, this afternoon I was thinking that I should clean out the fridge! Hehe :) I was also wondering about how people kept it organized so that food would be eaten instead of ending up in the back of the fridge spoiling.
Today I ended up cleaning out the drawers in my closet & threw out a whole bunch of stuff. Now, on to the fridge.

Can anyone tell me how things are stored so quickly in the fridge :(... I am the one who always try to finish the little things first, but again they are there...
Yes I also keep baking soda to make it smell free, and a piece of coal also work well for this purpose... and a tip of coal is... if kids eat or drink anything harmful than quickly grind a tsp of coal dissolve in little water and give it to the kids, it will work against that harmful thing.. Its my experienced tip.

I go clean the fridge (no, not eating all the food) next!!

Pam, this morning I'm also cleaning my closet and then my fridge. :-)

First I empty everything on top of my kitchen table. I put the milk, eggs and perishables on top of the ice trays. Then I soap all the shelves in the kitchen sink and let them air dry. When I put them back, I arrange them in a different setting.

In the meantime, I through old food away, sort, drink, eat... LOL and come sit at the computer.

Then, I put all the food back inside... it's not too much; we go to the supermarket once a week.

Yes, I have too many magnets. I need them! We also have a board where we comunicate.

On top, two coffe cups (not the big mugs) that we never use. On one side, more magnets.

OK, I love all these cleaning ideas! :-)

Begoluna, I saw an idea where you put all your magnets in a shadowbox style frame and hang them as artwork! It was really cute!

Jemsmom,

I also have magnets, where they don't belong, stuck to the garage door. Magnets attract ME!!! LOL

The shadowbox idea is great, so they don't need to be hidden, lost or thrown away!

gardengirl,

It was Jemsmom who saw the magnets in a shadowbox, not me. Mine are all over the house... well, not: just on the front (both doors) and one side of my refrigerator, and also on my garage door. :-) Oh, and my phone book has two (with publicity) still attached!

No, I don't need them all... and some are ugly or I never ever use them.

Some are potato chips clips, so I need them to keep all my bags (sugar, flour too) closed.

Then, I have some with pictures, my children's names, cities and places important to us as a family.

My dear friends have given me the beautiful ones, the ones I treasure.

Inside the garage door I have a basket-magnet (the kind used for the school lockers) with pencils and paper, in case I need them when I'm heading out... but I never have. :-D

I have magnets that I don't know how they ended up here! :-D Very strong magnetic field around me!!

With all this talk about magnets, I had to re-organize our magnetic chalkboard with photos of our friends, chore & shopping lists & schedules. We keep this on the inside of our pantry door. Did that last night. Today I cleaned out the junk drawer in our kitchen... looks so nice :)
What next?
