Since it is January, home organizing & cleaning would be a great topic. Since we are planning on putting our house on the market in the spring, I have been in the process of cleaning out every single area in our home top to bottom for the last several months! Right now I am working on our girls' rooms which is taking forever. After that comes the garage :/
Would love to know how people keep from filling up a large house with stuff over the years.

I am really loving your blog, Debbie, and how you are including everyone! :) Some topic ideas that come to mind are: favorite recipes, favorite places to vacation, crafting ideas, especially "trash to treasure" ideas, things we are thankful are parents taught us, simple pleasures that we enjoy. I also like "cleanfreaks" idea of home made cleaning solutions!

Yes gardening sounds good to me! How do people grow things anyway! I can barely grow weeds- and that's if I am lucky! Oh and here is something I have been wondering about. I have naturally wavy hair. It's more wavy in the back than front. Well that stinks, cause it never looks quite right. Here is the question though. Why in the heck is my hair that is turning gray even more wirey and corse? What is one to do about that. It's like some wirey weeds growing out of my head that aren't manageable! Anybody have any great gray hair solutions! Pretty soon if I pull them all out then I will have no hair!

How about a course on how to be more like you? You could call it "I Want to Be Like Debbie 101"! I also would love to know how you go about being able to sew more than pillows on a sewing machine, lol. I cannot seem to master the domestic stuff, just building furniture! And, recipes, lots of recipes! My family will thank you:-)

Tomboy....thank you:) Hey I have learned a new trick from my boys and I actually used it when starting my blog! Youtube has everything you could imagine...no shocker there, but why don't you try going there and look up sewing a hem in curtains, etc......there may be a video demo...just a thought, but keep it in mind in the future for something else you are looking for.

Thank you for letting me know about youtube, Debbie. I tried to sew a bolster pillow this evening and was pulling me hair out trying to figure out how to sew the circle pieces on the tube that I had sewn! Some of you are probably giggling because I did it all wrong and that is ok by me...I am laughing now too! (Wasn't so funny at the time:-)

Hi Tomboy, I just read your comments about bolster pillow, I sew many many these pillow cover,I think I can help you if you want, what problem you have if you tell me... you can visit on RMS on my cushions posts too... if you just want to sew the round part to the tube than better first make stitch by hand, than sew it on machine, reverse the tube side and as wel as your round pieceand hem it from inside by hand first and than with machine... I hope you will make a good one.

And more easy way is ... dont make your tube part first, measure and cut your tube cloth, than measure your circle part ,just like your tube part it is a straight piece,on one side of your circle piece you should make a tube for ribbon for tightening the cushion, first make that, and now connect your both circle part on each end of your basic tube part, now you have piece stiched by both the sides, with your circle part of cloth, now stitch the both the ends which left open, and your bolster cushion is ready...
