Now get your minds out of the gutter girls!!
Happy New Year to all! What a fun night we had indeed.
Today we woke up all refreshed and ready to start another new Happy year.
Mike wanted to COOK! Oh yeah, is all I can say. My man is very creative you know, even in the kitchen. So let me share with you today's recipe. It was Hungarian goulash.

Oh yeah, this is what I am talking about! |

Now that's HOT!
(If Mike saw this post he would be so very embarrassed, but we won't tell him!) |
|
And he has magical hands too! |

I would fall over dead if I saw my hubby in the kitchen:)
Hope you had a great day.
Wow! How lucky can you be, Debbie. Good looking and kind man and he can cook too? Happy New Year!...Christine
OMGoodness, you crack me up.
Happy New Year!
You are too funny! I really appreciated this. I am sitting here with my feet up and enjoying a glass of wine. I am dead beat tired after taking everything "Christmasy" down today. My crock pot has been going all day so I don't have any cooking to do, thankfully! My MR. is getting ready to cook some collards (for New Years = MONEY) soon and smell up the whole house! LOL! Your man's cooking sure is looking VERY good right now! :)))
I would love that, too, Debbie! The food sounds so good!!
Funny post, Debbie. Yep, mind was in the gutter for just a split second. I wish my husband liked to cook. Nope, nada.
That looks really good.
Oh honey, he could cook me liver and I would still love it.....Hot hot hot a man in the kitchen!
Carol
A good lookin guy in the kitchen and cooking...Yeah that would make me excited! Happy New Year girl!
HA! Love this post!! ;)
Yummy......Debbie, I think this is the way to start the New Year...Happy New Year to you and your family..
My hubby cooks too....alot! We just had the black bean soup that he made the other day, for dinner tonight! It is awesome when he cooks!!!! I don't even mind cleaning up!!!!
That looks delish! I am going to make that!
Don't think you will ever see a post like this on my blog....my hubby is definitely not a cook :)
Happy New Year to you and your family!
Jane
Hmmm wonder if I tell my hubby about this - if he would take a hint!
Happy New Year Debbie! Will have to try this recipe; looks delicious and so did your carrot cake items yesterday. My hubby does a great job heating me a cup of coffee in the microwave, but he doesn't cook--funny thing is--at one time he owned a restaurant! Best wishes for all good things in 2011. Peggy
Wow! If I don't cook, we don't eat. That sounds really good, too.
Hi, Debbie~
Thanks for posting the recipe. That looks delicious!
I do most of the cooking, but my husband helps out from time to time.
You're a funny, funny gal! :)
Wow, that looks good. Never made goulash and I can pretty much assure you my husband doesn't cook unless it involves the grill. Lucky you!
Debbie, you are so funny. You crack me up. It must be fun for your hubby to live with you! Susan
I would have a serious heart attack if my husband were in the kitchen cooking something other than heating up a can of spaghetti sauce! I may have to try this recipe. We had the best gulash in Germany! I had never had it before and it is so yummy!
How exciting for you - I would be excited too.
You are sooooo funny & lucky, Debbie!! :-) Food & hubby in the kitchen looked really good! Glad you had a very nice New Year's Day!! I fixed my last 'company' meal for a while. It was very good & the company conversations were too. So going to miss the girlfriend... oh and my son.. but he'll be back on the weekends for 12 weeks. So no tears for him yet. LOL
Happy New Year, Debbie! It's going to be another Great year!!!
Hugs,
Coreen xoxoxo
Looks good. I have a nice husband that cooks too!!
Love your "R" rated post!! LOL!!! Happy 2011! Hope to "visit" more often in the New Year!
Well, Debbie--you get your excitement YOUR way and I'll get mine MY OWN way..thanks. If you EVER saw my hubby cooking you would call in the same company they use to clean up after a house fire. It.is.not.pretty! I'm glad your guy is handy in the kitchen but I will leave mine snoring in his chair as usual! Thanks- xxoo Diana
Deb, you got an awesome guy to live with! I am grinning here. :D I loved the photos!

Now whose mind in the gutter, love the post, food looks good so does the man
I've got a man who cooks for me too-we're lucky girls indeed. At our house it would only be toast and cereal if he didn't so-what's a man to do!
Girl, you are so funny! Don't you love a man that can hold his own in the kitchen!?!?! I had to work New Year's Eve and when I came home my Hubby was cooking steaks and crab legs! Yeah! He could have made me a sandwhich for all I cared, as long as I didn't have to cook! shhhh.... don't tell him that.
Happy New Year,
Carrie
Way to go...spicing it up in the kitchen! Nothing like watching your man cook! Hope you had a glass of wine in hand as you watched him!
Wendy
Happy New Year, Debbie!
I enjoyed this yummy post, start to finish!
Never had that recipe. But it looks yummy for a cold afternoon.
Looks delish!!! I hope you had a great holiday! I still think you're a rising star, and I like the blogging and blabbing!
now this is a meal iam sorry i missed I love when Mike cooks its always to die for this looks so yumo:)
The only thing hotter would be a man who woke up and asked to do all the dishs, clean the counters and maybe wipe down the bathroom as an encore.
You had a dream weekend.
I am not familiar with Frostie colas. Is that a regional label?
Lucky lady! and that meal looks delicious!
Happy New Year!
You are one lucky lady! Have a Happy New Year!
Hooray for men in the kitchen! I have been married for 31 yrs, and in this past year or so, my husband has shown an interest in cooking with me. It is fun!!!
Happy New Year Debbie!
I completely agree!!! I love to watch my man mow the yard, do the dishes or tile a floor! I'm with ya sister!
The sexiest thing in the world is a man cooking! Lucky girl
Yummmy, that sounds delicious! My husband made hamburger helper once when I was too sick to cook. When I worked he would do a lot more in the kitchen but now that I'm home I do it alllllll!!!
Debbie, I was so pee'd off the other day. A lady on one of our local news shows is one of the top 10 for Oprah's show. I thought it was supposed to be for everyday people! She's already on an L.A. news show which is no small thing here. I thought that was unfair!
Anywho, happy January 2nd:)
A handsome husband cooking...what more could you want? Does he clean up the mess? :)
Wow, I would be beyond words! Then I would ask, ok.. what have you done that you are feeling guilty about!
LOL....Awesome to see and such a shame more men don't make the effort! I made sure my son learned a bit from me and he does cook and has shown a lot of interest in it. It has made for good compatibility with his girlfriend/fiance. Thumbs up!!
Wow!! That looks yummy!!....(food doesn't look too bad either!!) (wink..wink)
A man who can cook is invaluable Debbie. He is looking fine btw.
Lucky Girl! This meal looks amazing!!!
