Now this is how to get a woman excited!

Now get your minds out of the gutter girls!!
Happy New Year to all! What a fun night we had indeed.
Today we woke up all refreshed and ready to start another new Happy year.
Mike wanted to COOK! Oh yeah, is all I can say.  My man is very creative you know, even in the kitchen.  So let me share with you today's recipe. It was Hungarian goulash.
Oh yeah, this is what I am talking about!

Now that's HOT!
(If Mike saw this post he would be so very embarrassed, but we won't tell him!)

And he has magical hands too!

mmmmm....

Nice dumplings! That's what he said.. Now onto the recipe....

 It was absolutely delicious!

You are too funny! I really appreciated this. I am sitting here with my feet up and enjoying a glass of wine. I am dead beat tired after taking everything "Christmasy" down today. My crock pot has been going all day so I don't have any cooking to do, thankfully! My MR. is getting ready to cook some collards (for New Years = MONEY) soon and smell up the whole house! LOL! Your man's cooking sure is looking VERY good right now! :)))

Happy New Year Debbie! Will have to try this recipe; looks delicious and so did your carrot cake items yesterday. My hubby does a great job heating me a cup of coffee in the microwave, but he doesn't cook--funny thing is--at one time he owned a restaurant! Best wishes for all good things in 2011. Peggy

Thanks for posting the recipe. That looks delicious!
I do most of the cooking, but my husband helps out from time to time.

Wow, that looks good. Never made goulash and I can pretty much assure you my husband doesn't cook unless it involves the grill. Lucky you!

I would have a serious heart attack if my husband were in the kitchen cooking something other than heating up a can of spaghetti sauce! I may have to try this recipe. We had the best gulash in Germany! I had never had it before and it is so yummy!

You are sooooo funny & lucky, Debbie!! :-) Food & hubby in the kitchen looked really good! Glad you had a very nice New Year's Day!! I fixed my last 'company' meal for a while. It was very good & the company conversations were too. So going to miss the girlfriend... oh and my son.. but he'll be back on the weekends for 12 weeks. So no tears for him yet. LOL

Happy New Year, Debbie! It's going to be another Great year!!!

I've got a man who cooks for me too-we're lucky girls indeed. At our house it would only be toast and cereal if he didn't so-what's a man to do!

Girl, you are so funny! Don't you love a man that can hold his own in the kitchen!?!?! I had to work New Year's Eve and when I came home my Hubby was cooking steaks and crab legs! Yeah! He could have made me a sandwhich for all I cared, as long as I didn't have to cook! shhhh.... don't tell him that.
Happy New Year,
Carrie

The only thing hotter would be a man who woke up and asked to do all the dishs, clean the counters and maybe wipe down the bathroom as an encore.

You had a dream weekend.

I am not familiar with Frostie colas. Is that a regional label?

Yummmy, that sounds delicious! My husband made hamburger helper once when I was too sick to cook. When I worked he would do a lot more in the kitchen but now that I'm home I do it alllllll!!!

Debbie, I was so pee'd off the other day. A lady on one of our local news shows is one of the top 10 for Oprah's show. I thought it was supposed to be for everyday people! She's already on an L.A. news show which is no small thing here. I thought that was unfair!

Anywho, happy January 2nd:)

LOL....Awesome to see and such a shame more men don't make the effort! I made sure my son learned a bit from me and he does cook and has shown a lot of interest in it. It has made for good compatibility with his girlfriend/fiance. Thumbs up!!
