This means War!

One thing Buffalo is known for is
The chicken wing! And let me tell you, it is the truth.  If you think you get good wings outside of Buffalo, New York, you are sadly mistaken. I will say, the ONLY time I indulge in a wing, is when I come home.
We decided we would do our own taste test between the two rivals in Buffalo, New York.
Duffs versus Anchor Bar.
Anchor Bar is true home of the Buffalo Chicken wing.

Looks like the wealthy dig Anchor bar too for their wings LOL!

Seriously, before I could even blink my eyes and take a picture, the wings were gone!
Here is a quick video for your enjoyment...it was fun!
Do you have good wings in your area?

Thanks for stopping by and having a wing! YUMMO. Oh and for the record, it was a tie for me on the Wings. They both are fabulous, and have their own unique sauce.

Newbie party still going on HERE

And if you have not heard about the Mountain of giveaways...head on over NOW.

My neighbor (knight in shining armor) fries wings every Friday night at his house, even though they're super spicy (for me) I can't resist them!

We have several good wing places here, but none of them even come close to Duffs.

We drive down to Buffalo just to go to Duffs :) Love them and love the atmosphere (very 60's looking, and I don't mean in put on kind of way) :)

Mmmmm,...I agree. There is no place like Buffalo for wings. We always go to Washington Square or Anchor Bar before we go to the Sabres games. Fabulous!!

I live in South Florida. We traveled to the Dolphins vs. Bills football game last year in Buffalo. Ate at the Anchor Bar. Wings were FAB! I loved Buffalo. It looked like a hollywood movie set from a flick about 'Days Gone By'..... Sweet little town.

Niagra was nice too.

Oh yes! Wings! One of the many things my husband's family asks for when they come up from Florida. They just can't make 'em right down there. Enjoy!

I lived in NY for a long time!! NOT in Buffalo, however, I have been to buffalo and the wings there are AWESOME!! BUT, other places in NY have clearly copied from the best!! Because a lot of the wing places do make them like that.
Now, as for NJ? NO WAY!!!

I remember my supreme disappointment in what were billed as buffalo wings when I was in school in Miami. Nobody does wings like Upstate NY. Haven't been to the Anchor Bar in years, but we have a trip to the falls planned for later this summer, so I'll have to stop in. Thanks for sharing.

Glad to hear that you made it back home safely. Take the weekend and get it back together. It's been really quiet this week in blogland with all the heat.

But, you have to have a peek at

It's totally addictive.
