What a beautiful area Debbie! How nice to have an upstairs landing for your beautiful tree! Love your banister decorations and those skates are perfect!:)
oh WOW, I love your staircase--and I adore those skates!!!! XO Cindy
Im with you Debbie, my banister is not where my decorating skills lie. Yours turned out great, and all at the last minute. I have to think mine over for days before deciding. So many linky parties I can hardly keep up.
It looks good Deb.. very pretty with the tree in that area.
I left my bannister in the last house and I havent missed the stairs at all nor the decorating of them:)
Wow, you're great at this! I love it! The ice skates are my favorite! Your landing looks great!
Your tree is just plain gorgeous and your snowflakes on the stairs is something that is new...but I will bet after seeing it here ..it's going to catch on!! :)

Looks real good to me. I don't have a banister or a mantel...one story house and a full wall fireplace. Of course I could have decorated the fireplace but it's just not the same without a mantel..So I get to visit all of you that do! I am impressed with your idea's...
Kindredly,Shirley
You did great - Pretty!
I stopped decorating my banister a couple of years ago.
Hi Debbie Dear! I love your banister and how you've decked it out for Christmas! The skates and snowflakes! :) Love your Warming Room sign! Oh, I can't wait to see your tree, it looks gorgeous!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
That's the wreath I was going to use for your Christmas copy catting, but it wasn't from a mag. So I was trying to follow the rules. I'm wonderful like that you know! :)
You just did that today?? Girl you amaze me!! That looks so fun and festive and I love that you just went for it. :-) Totally love the last post of you and your mom (both beautiful ladies by the way) and your mesh wreath! Thanks in advance for sharing it at the Doors/Porches party!
Vanessa
Your bannister idea is very cute. Mine is plain Jane this year with just live garland that may be dead before Christmas.
Your banister looks great Debbie! Love the black skates and I can't wait to see your tree.
Girl you did good!! And how am I suppose to ignore that beautiful looking tree!!
Debbie, I love what you did to your bannister and your tree is lovely! I just love your work.
Your bannister looks great, Debbie!I love the snowflakes and the Christmas tree looks great up there. I haven't done our bannister yet and I don't know if it's going to get done. We still don't have any lights up front!
I think this looks great with the snowflakes & the skates...it's alot of fun.
So many parties; really makes me want to start a Blog. Everything you've done is so cute. Love the snowman at the front door, and the skates on the banister are perfect. Great job! It smells so good here from the Scentys I purchased from you. Peggy
Your bannister looks perfect, Debbie! Great job!

Funny thing....I loved the inspiration picture too...so when we bought this house two years ago, I recreated it....You can see the ice skates in my header. If you want to see it, here is the link to the post:

Debbie, That's a great look for your landing. Lucky you finding vintage skates. Everything is so cute.
Babs
Debbie, well for it not being your thing.. You sure did it up right... It looks wonderful....
Your banister looks lovely! Had to laugh when I saw the ice skates...because I hung a pair on my banister too! Mine were $12 ;-)
Debbie, I just marvel at you!! How you just whip these things up amazes me!! LOL!!! Love the skates! So cute!
You did a lovely job, Debbie. Give yourself some credit!! The ice skates look SO cute!
XO,
Jane
Love it! Love the garland and skates!
I love it and on a budget too? Even better.
I think your banister turned out great! It coordinates with your fireplace mantel (which I always think they should) so....therefore "high five"! You did a great job. It's very cute and continues your theme with the iceskates and snow. Even your tree behind it fits in well since it appears to be snow flocked. Thanks for sharing!
I wish I had a banister. Yours look fabulous.
I love your creativity! Those black skates actually remind me of the ones my dad always wore when we were little. (Haven't always lived in the south...) It all looks wonderful, and I think your tree is beautiful. Yes... I peeked at it. I don't follow directions well.
Your banister is like my mantel is to me...I hate it, it looks good to the naked eye but when I take a picture it is horrible...and that's all I have to say.LOL
Your banister looks great Deb!
It looks pretty cute, Debbie. I can't BELIEVE that you didn't spray paint those skates though. I have a pair of them that I am spraying pink and glittering. Hope MyHero doesn't decide he wants to go skating cuz you know what they will say about HIM! xo Diana
love the look but Deb where is the raindeer lol:)
It's beautiful! Where on earth do you find the time? Can I hire you? LOL!!!
For a gal that doesn't decorate banisters, you did a bang up good job! It looks great! Clever idea to add the snow flakes and another one of those cute signs.
I think it is gorgeous! The snowflakes are awesome and the skates? I WANT THEM!!
You did fabulous! (and I totally did not look a the tree) lol
Great job!
Lou Cinda
Your banister looks awesome, Debbie!!!! Especially with the tree as a backdrop!
Lovely Debbie. I don't know how you do it. Everything you do is so beautiful and you make it look fun and easy. Thanks for all your ideas but just can't keep up with you.
Audrey Z.
The ice skates are a great addition. I love all the snow flakes. Gives it a nice wintery feel.
You did a great job. I've had to sit out on a few parties, I don't have a banister. Well not one that is visible anyway. I've got some skates on the way from ebay-see what you made me do....LOL have a great day!
debbie
Here's my excuse....I can't find the stupid banister!!! Hum, maybe I have to add on a second story...wait a minute I have stairs to the attic over the garage, where will I put the car LOL! You don't stink at anything Debbie!
Carol
Yea...you found a way to use the skates! The banner looks fun and whimsical...I like it. I know what you mean about not wanting to miss a party. I will be skipping out on the banister party though, since I live in a one story.

Girl, you are rockin' the banister! I love what you did! The ice skates look awesome hanging over the railing ... the large snowflakes are perfect, too! Looks like a winter wonderland up there ... as if there is an ice skating oasis up there by your gorgeous tree!!
Debbie, it is beautiful! You are so good at everything you do! Just perfect!
Debbie, I think you have the perfect banister to decorate! Love the snowflakes, the skates and the dear Warming House sign
So pretty! I like decorating with skates at Christmastime, too! Living in a ranch style home, I miss out on banister decorating, yours looks terrific! Thanks for sharing.
Debbie, I came back again to see the skates and
realized I hadn't commented. Want to let you know how great the banisters look. You are so creative and are always coming up with something new and beautiful. Everything looks so festive. Merry Christmas, Ginger
Oh my gosh, so pretty Debbie!! I love the greenery upstairs along with the snowflakes and tree, and of course those ice skates are the finishing touch....love it!
Ok, so what is the problem with your banister? Because honestly, I don't see anything wrong with it. You did a great job. OH and I didn't look at the tree..........;0)
WHERE did you score the skates???? I have been searching for a pair! Your banister looks CA UTE!!!! Great job! Loving all these4 parties, just hard to keep up! XO, Pinky
Very pretty! Love the little tin sign incorporated into the festive decor! :)
First of all, Debbie, I love your iron spindles. They are gorgeous! Secondly, I love the nostalgic look to your banister decor (especially the ice skates). We do not have banisters to decorate in our house, so I cannot participate (we have pajama stairs only).
Your home is so pretty!!!!!!
xoxoxooxxo,
Ricki Jill
I love it, Debbie! Very original!..Christine
That turned out great! You are a non-stop do girl! I wasn't ready for the party but I did enter my mantel. Probably the last on the list!
