Hosting the pet party is a blast! I seriously laugh out loud and smile at each and every one of your posts.  

Pets bring so much joy to our lives, and it is so much fun to share. 

 My next pet Party will be in October.  

I think Fall is a great time, and Halloween costumes will be optional. For now, I would like to highlight a  few talented women...

I met a new friend, Michelle, who 

 in fact, is hosting a Pet portrait giveaway. I actually have a painted portrait of Lucy, which many of you have seen and loved.    It is very special to me.  That certainly does not mean I would NOT want another portrait of my girl.

Kathryn and I met on the decorating site Rate My space around two years ago.

Kathryn has been learning and taking photography courses for about a year now.

She is truly amazing.  If you are in the Charleston, SC area, you may want to contact her,  and have her do a photo shoot for you.  In the meantime, check out her blog..she is a sweet blogging friend indeed!

Lucy's Pet Partay is going on Now~

Lucy, your big day has arrived! 

You are having a party today and you missy are the host!

Really Mom? I am so comfy and cozy on Daddy's pillow.  I miss him so when he is at work..and I don't really feel like partying today.

Oh but, Nana's girl Beatrice (Morkie) Half yorkie half Maltese does...

Look Beatrice even get's dressed up everyday! Not to mention PJ's at night!! OH brother....

ANd you know Lucy, I hate to compare, but Beatrice even helps Nana out in the Garden...

Cali on the other hand, could care less.....

Since Nana's girl Beatrice  came around, not only are Debbie and Ang jealous, Cali, is  too, she just needs to sleep it off most to of the time.

OK, OK, so I guess I will get ready/.  This means the dreaded tub again....

 Well I can handle this, My Daddy is scrub adub dubbin me!

 Seriously, MOM, this is not the Golden globes, you need not squeeze me in a dress two sizes too small!

But I am the host, so I will get this party started.  Can't wait!~

it's about time for another PET partay!

I have had lots of inquiries and requests for another one...

Of course these days I am a bit busy...

but we always have some time for our pets.

 Lucy has an outfit already she has been itching to get into to.....

 Lucy loves herself dearly and requested  a portrait of herself above her food.  

A very dear friend painted for us.

So what do you say? You up for it? The first party was a real hit, I had well over 100 pets come join the fun...
Any animal qualifies, birds, goats, pigs...etc...just come join us and show a pet..

Lucy, you have some esplainin' to do!

I will not bore you with the details of how we came about getting Lucy, because I tend to ramble.  I will tell you she had a brother and I really wanted him too. My plan was to have Desi and Lucy...as you can see there is no Desi.

Lucy is a pug, she is 4 years old. 

She is the love of our life.

The boys take such good care of her.

She is a Daddy's girl, BIG time!

What does Lucy do all day...SLEEP!

She works hard, doing nothing, but sleeping, snoring and dreaming.

So you ready for the partay? Lucy is excited...
Oh Lucy, Lucy...where are you?

There you are...little girl you need to get out of Mommy's bed so I can make it.  You have a big day today, no time for sleeping.

Now Mommy you know I hate a tub, what is all this nonsense about?

Well if you give me a tub, am I going to get  treat too?

Now that is finger licking good!

And what's this I get a new toy too?

I love her, thank you and pink is my favorite color.....

But seriously Mom, a new sweater too?

Can you atleast get one that fits next time?

Gosh I need a diet.

On one more note. The motivation for this party was my Mom's new Morkie, Beatrice. Beatrice is flying in from Kansas tomorrow afternoon.  I will make a special feature debut just for her later on.

Lucy would like to remind all her new furry friends, reptiles alike, that she is having a big Shin dig at her pad on Monday.

Tomorrow Lucy is spending the day for grooming, you know she is such a high maintenance dog, that a day at the Spa tub at home, will do her good.

I'm a little shy, but I'll get over it.  See you then.
