Texture and Color

I had this plain clear vase,

and after I placed my flowers in it, they looked BLAH to me!

Now this trick is all over the place, and whomever thought of it, was a genius. Gals are using this twine on everything, from books, to lampshades, fruits, etc....

just about anything that you can wrap it around.
SO..my tip and tutorial is pretty simple...everything in your home can have a new look or second life. In my case there are many things that have been painted and repainted over and over...
this is pretty self explanatory:

Love cobalt blue and orange together...good oranges too!

Love my little German salt and pepper shakers my FIL gave us, perfect for Spring.
