Thanks for hosting these awesome linkie parties!~ Go check some more cool projects out!~

Finished Room over Garage...I never knew what that was til I moved in this home.  This is our first two story home too so I guess I would not know that.  Anyhow, this is my boys TV room.....the room they can hang out with friends, watch movies, play video games, build legos....and yes for the record I just cleaned it for the photo shoot!!~ When we first moved in we had all these retro tin signs, bar accessories and we just decided to throw it all in there.  As the boys became older I realized they probably should not be hanging out with beer signs.  So one day I just tore the room apart, ran to Walgreens with some of their toddler and baby pics, made Black and Whites...bought some cool distressed frames from Walmart....then added new curtains.  What a room transformation for little cost!~ Oh new pillows, and my husband added the wall sconce light, which was cheap from Lowes.  It is pretty comfy in there now.....We also painted the room over with a warmer shade of green and used the Benjamin Moore Aura paint, it was awesome, and easy to clean too! Little boys tend to mess up walls with finger prints and slamming toys around.....

Deb, I love that room. Great wall color and cute pictures. Love the curtains, too. Yes, he will kill you if he finds out. I won't tell.

What a cute room, Debbie. So lucky for your boys to have their own rec room. We have a one story house but I have been wanting to build a big room above the garage with dormer windows. It's a 3 car garage so there would be plenty of room up there. Ahhhh! Maybe someday, I can only dream...Christine

Nice changes! It looks like a model home because of those simple changes you made. I love framed pictures! Then again, my dad's a professional picture framer and he sent me to school to learn to frame as well!

Framed art makes a huge difference on your walls!

WOW!! I was finally able to post a comment. I am old and slow to catch on to these new fangled things. I will be 70 in April and I don't really feel that old until I run up against some of these computer things. About your blog. I have been visiting for some time. I have really enjoyed it. The transformation of the family room is great. I have a similar room that needs to be redone. I have also visited your tablescapes on "Tablescapes Thursdays". I am so glad that I can now comment. By the way those boys are so precious. Such a treasure for your young family. Hugs

Love the room Debbie! I love the colors you chose. The pics of your boys are too cute! When my boys were growing up I always had a room just for them and their friends in order to save wear and tear on other rooms. When they hit their teens I added a small fridge so they could keep drinks and snacks in there and not stand at kitchen fridge with the door open pondering what to eat or drink.

Debbie-your comment on my blog was beautiful-you are an incredible person. As for this post--I am serious you should just come and do all of our houses--so many bloggers would pay for you to do it and then you would be super rich and we could fly you all over the country ha ha

This is so nice Deb. I really wish my girls had a room they could put all their toys in. I guess your boys have probably left the abundance of plastic toy stage.

Holy cow!! That room looks sooo good! I love the paint choice:)
And you're right, there comes a time when the beer signs have to go. My hubs got rid of his too (finally!).

Thanks for stopping by! I'm happy to follow you too.

Btw, the rainbow on my header...I took that at 6:45 in the morning. I had never seen a rainbow that early in the day. Thanks for the comment love!
