I will Not bake cookies!
I don't bake, I can't bake well, and I am invited to not one, not two, but three cookie exchanges this year! So what is a girl to do? I love to eat cookies. I visited blogs for recipes, found some awesome ones in fact, but they all involved baking. My Mom brought me some recipes of her own, that I love. She can bake! One of them was a no bake oreo ball. It got me to thinking....so I looked on line and found a no bake recipe involving oreos.
So today I bring my first 4 dozen, and come home with 4 dozen. Really it suppose to be 5 but I cheated, because I ate the other dozen, Oh well, they will understand.
I did a few chocolate as well. Gotta go print up my recipe to share at the exchange. THis was a hard one! Have a great weekend. I am joining Vanessa for her first cookie exchange Stuff and Nonsense Gourmet meals for less |

Wow! Those look really good! I'll have to remember those! :)
Mmmm...those looks delicious! I think those will be a hit at your cookie exchanges! :)
Now, That's my kind of recipe.
This is one I can do.
I don't bake much (or cook) either...only when absolutely neccessary. : )
Here's the line I used to use with husband "If I sew all day, I have a new outfit, if I cook all day, all I have is dirty dishes"
Love your festive header! Now this is my kind of baking and I think I would have eaten that first batch also! I would understand if it were my exchange!

Yum! Those look delicious!!! I am bookmarking this one!
Would you believe that when my kids were little I baked everyday of life? I always had a plate of fresh cookies for them after school. I used to make big batches and freeze them in dollops and then pop out whatever I needed-pop them on a cookie sheet and bake them up.
You can come visit me and I will bake for you!
There is also the Ritz Cracker recipe..you put a spoonful of peanut butter between two Ritz crackers and then, using a fork, dip it into melted chocolate. So easy and they are SOOO good. You set them on a rack and let them cool...Presto- Done!
Hugs-Diana
Oh Debbie, I'm with you about baking...It just doesn't work out with me. Yours turn out deliciously looking.

Peppermint and oreos sound like a winner to me. All the better that you didn't have to bake them. Have fun at the parties. ~ Sarah

Hi Debbie...Been along time since I have read Blogs but I came across yours again and So glad I did...I am so happy that you posted this cookie recipe..Ladies at my church are having a Cookie Exchange and I needed a new one. Thanks So Much...Merry Christmas...btw, still love looking at all your pics..
Yummy easy goodness!
Hi Deb, No bake-baking, gotta love it, hope you had a great time at your cookie exchange!
Hugz,
Kim
Bake schmake, who has time? lol
So good to see you. :)
Debbie, they look scrumptious! Here's another easy peasy recipe that is always a hit.... Buy chocolate chip cookie dough in the refrigerated roll. Put little chunks of it in a mini muffin pan and bake. While baking, unwrap enough Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to allow one per cookie. As soon as you remove the cookies from the oven, press a peanut butter cup down into the center of each cookie. Let cool and remove from the pan. Not only are they beautiful, they are yummy!
Thanks Terri for this recipe too..I am needing to bake 2 dozen cookies for a cookie exchange...Now I have my 2 :)
Great idea! It's mine now! :)
I love it! They look really good!!! I bake a few things such as brownies, apple cake pumpkin bread and Tollhouse cookies. The rest I leave up to Tim! LOL!
Thanks for your lovely comment on my Tropical Angels. Your goodies have my stomache rumbling !

Debbie! You are my kind of girl! Would you believe that my husband asked for a package of Oreos for Christmas this year? :-) I'm imagining how much fun my son would have making these with me so we will definitely be giving them a try. Not sure how many would actually make it past our kitchen to be shared with anyone else though!
Thanks so much for joining the Cookie Exchange,
Vanessa
Hey again! If you get a chance, would you be willing to link this up on my sister's blog too? I know she would appreciate it!
Thanks friend,
Vanesssa
Okay, it's hard to beat chocolate dipped oreo's with peppermint on top! My husband would so love these. Oreos are his favorite cookie. Thanks so much for linking up to our Sister Saturday cookie exchange!
