It's time for a fun quickie here. We all love a quickie right?....wrong??maybe??.....You may recall this past year I have been into embellishing lamps. It is the cheapest quick fix to a different look.
Since painting my stools and really having that Country french look, I decided a new lampshade was in order.
First let me take you through a few embellishments, just in case you are new here.
This one seemed to be a big Hit during the Fall.
Then we had the Pretty poppy one in the Summer
Then there was this crazy one...I still like it though..so I guess that is a good thing
There are a few more, but you get the gist.......So now onto my Recent one.
Pretty self explanatory here. I bought the harlequin ribbon, and black trim half price at Hobby Lobby...also the green rose.
Hot glue gun is my friend.

How fun. I haven't thought of doing that. I like to decorate all over the place so now there's new ground. Thanks too for all the newbie info. Very kind of you to take the time to spell it all out. I'm sure it is time consuming.
Darling little lamps!
Love the poppy shade. It has a country-modern look to it, which is the look I would like to eventually capture in my home.
As usual, you have come up with a doozie! I am loving the green rose. Thanks for all your support. Gotta go to bed now. Hugs, Ginger
These are all so cute!! :)
Very quick transformation, your home is never dull
Such fresh and beautiful ideas, Debbie! I would like to own the rooster on your wall.
A perfect touch for your home, Mr. Rooster is all dressed up! Love the black and red together with the pop of green.
You definitely have a way with lampshades. Your newest creation is wonderful. It's amazing how something so simple can add so much.
You know I am all over the roosters, and always love your lampshade improvements! Love this and it goes soooo well with those stools!!!
I love it Debbie. You did an awesome job! I can't wait to see what you come up with next. You are so creative!
OMG...where did that big rooster on the board come from?? Could you just be a dove and send that to me? Let's be reasonable here...which one of us has a blog with the word "rooster" in it?? I'm just saying....lol
Oh Boy, this is one is right up there with my top favorites! I love the harlequin ribbon and the the additional ribbon and flower are icing on the cake!
These are all so fun and so creative. I have two that I really need to redo, some fabulous ideas. I love them all. Hugs, Marty
So whimsical and perfect for that spot. Homegoods has so many great lampshade to buy seperately. I need to go and have a look and update some of mine. Or just add rick/rack like you!
Wow, you stay up late and post late. Cute new lamp do. You are dangerous with that glue gun.
Hi Debbie! What a great idea. I have so many lamps I could grow a lamp garden. What a fabulous way to re-vamp an old lamp, add to a new one, or change it according to the season! Thanks for sharing. I am LOVIN' the last one! XOXO ~Liz
All of these are so cute...I love the rooster! It's nice that you can personalize them for any room. Great inspiration!

Very Pretty - You did good! :D
Was in HL yesterday and took a peek at their 60% off isles again, and they had quiet a bit of rooster items. Thought to my self - bet a lot of bloggers would like to find this.:D
Enjoy your day.
Can't wait to try this. So, so chic. I think I will use a sunflower instead of the rose since we are going for a Tuscan look right now. Your is lovely and what a fantastic idea.
Hi Debbie!
I love all your fun lamp redos. I have several I need to redo and just haven't found the right "look" yet.
That is such a cute and fun lamp, it just screams Debbie!!! I saw at Joann's they now have small lampshades where you remove the paper and they're sticky so you can cover them with whatever you want. I want one!!!

Cute stuff Debbie! The only embellishment I've tried on a lamp shade is adding a tassel!

Hi Debbie Dear! Oh, I love your little lamp shades! You're good. Now what can you 'not' do? :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Cute lamp shade Deb, and I love that rooster pic in the back ground done on the old wood. You ought to know it would catch my eye. Oh, I can't wait until our pet party. Sophie and I will definately be there!
Hi Debbie! Thanks for visiting my lampshade post! What a great idea to dress up a plain shade. I actually have two like this in my living room. I've only done red ribbon tied in a bow at Christmas, but I may have to explore incorporating other colors and patterns.
I have a couple of shades I need to embellish too! Yours are really cute!
Okay now that is a fun project! Love it. I'm a new follower and look forward to more!

Hi Debbie...
What a great idea...I love how all of your beautiful lamp embellishments! I often add a pretty tassel to my lamp shades but never thought to do something like this. Thanks for the great decor tip!
Warmest winter wishes,
Chari @Happy To Design
I do believe you may be the queen of the lampshade. The adornments are all so pretty..it inspires me to do something with my boring ones.
