What a cute idea. I saw those cans the other day too, but didn't think about what to do with one. Don't ya just love tulips. And even better tulips and bokeh!?! Thanks for linking up.
Debbie,
That is so cool!! I love it!
Who'd of thought you could do that with a paint can?! You would, of course!!
I like the whole thing with the wooden tray and the candle...very nice! :)
Go ahead and take credit for it, because I have never seen that before. Who knew they sold empty paint cans. Cute idea.
What a wonderful idea, I love it! I love the avocado color too!
Very cute! and makes me long for Spring and warm sunshine.
Debbie that looks so pretty, you are just so creative!! Funny I just bought 3 of those cans yesterday, but they don't look this pretty, my daughter needed them for her science project. Happy Valentine's Day, Martina
Little Ms. Creative, don't ya love spring time flowers! Starting to get the Spring Fever BUG.....temps are in the 60's this week! Thanks for sharing. The whole vignette looks great!
Hi Debbie, When I first saw "paint can" I got scared, lol, I remembered the incident you had in the garage with the red paint. I love what you did with the paint can, it came out so cute, love the pretty tulips!
Hugz,
Kim

Your good girl..your very good only you would think outside the box like this ..Great one Debbie..Hugs and smiles Gloria
Cute idea, Debbie...and all I have ever done with them is put paint in them...go figure! Here I could have been decoupaging and painting and making myself a flower can! Now you know you MUST do something crafty with the lid, right? Please don't disappoint me on this!;>)
Hope you get your linky link working~ Which reminds me...I started backing up my blog after reading it could all be lost. Do you know if there is a way to back it up so that the pictures are included-oh great and all knowing Blog Woman! Hugs-Diana
So cute Debbie! Cute and creative!
Debbie,
Cool, cool, cool idea!!!! I have bought these before to use for projects for school. For flowers?? GREAT idea!! Are you going to use anything to make holes in the bottom for drainage (I have no green thumb so am never sure what to do about that). Absolutely love this idea!
~Crystal
Debbie so cute! I pass those paint cans all the time...I never think of such a creative idea! I want to borrow your brain just for a day!
Pretty darn cute Debbie! Vanna
Debbie, This is Fab! I have used these cans to store leftover paint that I wanted to catalog and store but I never thought of anything this awesome.
Really turned out great. Love the tulips. Hugs, Ginger
Wow! You just transitioned us so smoothly from Valentine's day to Spring! :-) I love it!
Vanessa
When I hear you talk about paint and a can I see red...All over your garage! OK, glad to see it was an empty can of paint, now be sure to let us know if you right "grow" on the can if it helps! I think it is a great original idea, plus you can just pick it up by the handle and move it!! Genius!
Carol
Love it!! I love that color.
Very cute Debbie! I like it in the tray with the seeds...very nice combination!

I saw those cans the other day and really needed one for paint in a can with a lid that won't fit anymore. However, I was too cheap to pay almost $5 for a paint can.
Your new can is cute. I love the color you painted it and the embellishments go with it so well. Best of all, those sunny tulips really do brighten up winter days like these.
what a cute and easy project. Love the distressed tray, you always have the cutest things in your house. It all looks so natural and earthy.
How fabuously cute and wonderful is that. Really perks you up!
A very clever idea, Debbie. And who doesn't love tulips? Kudos to you! You are the Queen of Creativity :D
xoxoxo,
Ricki Jill
That is so cute, Debbie. I didn't know they sold empty cans either. I love tulips and hope the ones I bought last a while.
That's a super idea! I love how you displayed it with the tray too. I love tulips & just seeing them here makes me think of spring. When it's February in NY with piles of snow everywhere, you're convinced spring will never come, so I needed this.
That is so cute! And so fresh and spring-y looking! I had no idea they sold empty cans. That would be a great teacher gift! Kyran always looks at our plants and says "Grow" to them and I get all stressed out that he's putting too much pressure on them:)
Debbie,
I'm coming over to your house so you can inspire me to do some of these projects. You are so creative.
Have a great day,
Mary
My friend buys those empty cans and decorates them all up for gifts. Then packages the gift inside the can. They work great for baked goods too.
thanks for sharing all your photos- looks great.
tammy

This is such a cute idea. I have seen it done with an old paint can, but a new one is even better :) Those tulips just make me think "Ahhh, Spring is almost here." I hope soon because I need to get over the winter blahs and Spring fever :)
