Decisions, decisions!

Oh my, I had never heard of this manufacturer Wesley Allen until we were looking for a new
iron bed.
They have the prettiest selections, and I do believe we have narrowed it down.
Well there is no narrowing down,
we both agreed on this bed
YAY!

There is something timeless and Old World to me about this bed,  and I do think it will be a perfect fit for us.
Now bedding, curtains, and oh let's not forget furniture, end table, and dressers. That I do believe is the hard part.
I was almost thinking of painting our current furniture.  I'm scared. because at least I have the option to sell it now...however if I paint it, and I don't like it, then I don't think that is a good sell.
decisions, decisions.  All good.....

So far these are things I really like:
Bedding from West Elm
draperies from Pottery Barn

What do you think?

and I really loved these curtains...

Right now I am 100 percent sure on the bed, the rest, I am not so sure on.
Of course I love your suggestions, and are open to all of them...
Thank you.

In the meantime, don't forget this lovely French runner that can be yours

Love the bed, the comforter and the top curtains. The 2nd curtains are pretty, too and would look good with a white matelasse coverlet, whereas the first curtains would look good with a cover that's blue or grey. The accent color could be the salmon color in the pattern. I'm sure it's going to look great whatever you choose!

Gorgeous bed! I love it! And I would probably choose the first set of drapes/curtains. I love the shading and I think it would offer you more options than the 2nd set. LOVE the bedding...I can't wait to see it! xxoo Diana

I love Iron furnature & that bed frame is awesome!! The bedding is gorgeous, but I'm personally afraid of drapes with 'prints' but that's a long story and just me. :-)

I know you will put it all together fabulously like you do with every room you decorate or redecorate! I swear you Will be a famous decorater someday very soon!! You're so creative and good at putting the best 'pieces' and looks to go!

Sorry I haven't visited for a while. I've been sick & sure have missed visiting you and everyone!

Have a Beautiful week, Debbie!!!
Hugs,
Coreen xoxo

That bed is gorgeous! I love the white bedding with the first set of curtains. I know you will make it so beautiful. I totally see where you would be at a loss if you paint the furniture and hate it. Then you wouldn't be able to sell it. You may want to go thrifting and see what pieces you could find reasonably and then decide if you want to paint or not!

Lovely bed! I bought a lovely cast iron bed for my guest room last year for $150 at a local junk store! It has the best chippy white finish! My bed is cast-iron, too, all twilighty gothic! Check it out:

Oh, that bed is drop dead gorgeous! I like both of the drapes, maybe the second one best, what color are your walls going to be? I am going to have to go back and look at your old furniture now. I know what you mean about painting it and then trying to sell it though. This is so fun to redo your bedroom, cannot wait to see more! :)
