What a funny post because I was JUST saying to my hubby that I'm ready to pull out my fall goodies. Can't wait till I can put up my Halloween goodies that I found at the end of the year last year. I don't think you're too early. If the kids are going back to school (which mine does on Monday) then it's fall. I'm right behind ya : )
Can't wait to see what you do this year Debbie. I loved all your cuties last year. I decorate for Fall (well every season I guess). Will be doing that Labor Day weekend. Have fun. Peggy
I love fall, too. Yes, I will be decorating for fall. Probably mid Sept. yay!
I am itching to start pulling out the decor too! Pulled out a few harvest colored candles and a bisque pumpkin just yesterday! Put them back for a bit thought. My kids do not go back to school til Sept. 6th and then I'll go full tilt!
Not ready to decorate for fall yet. Maybe when it starts feeling like it. Have a super weekend.
Hi Sweetie...
I thought about it,and then opened the door to the outside, here in the Phoenix desert, and said NO WAY. Fall is not here yet in the desert. The kids have started school, but no Fall. To hot.
I love your share though and can't wait to see what you are creating now. Love it when you do.
Country hugs from Phoenix, Sherry
Wow! Debbie, you are way ahead of me. I haven't even thought of fall decorating yet. Can't wait to see what you do:)
I was traveling down the interstate this week to visit my parents when I saw an intact bale of hay on the side of the road. I wanted to stop and get it so badly. I need it for my fall decorating. (Did I mention it was bumper to bumper traffic, and I was going 70 mph? Yeah, I couldn't stop.)
Yes, it is beginning to cool off a tad and I am ready!!
I love fall decorating too although I hate the end of summer. I wish it would last longer. Can't wait to see what you use though. Fall has such pretty colors!
I'm loving that the surfs are back "for now" happy painting!
I will certainly be checking your blog the next months, because I adore fall, as a girl from Astoria-Queens, I always loved my fav time of year. Now I like it so much more because, my oldest daughter Alexandra's b'day is Sept. 16, my b'day is Oct. 20, my youngest Sofia's b'day is Nov. 16 and Thanksgiving and than Christmas!
Have a great weekend. FABBY
Love and longing for fall. I actually picked up some large vintage wicker baskets at an estate sale today. It put me in a fall mood. I'll be checking out your decor.
Fall is also my favourite season. Longing for it and looking forward to your creation. Enjoy the best time.
I Definitely decorate for fall! The entire house. I usually start around the first week of Sept.
Hi Debbie Dear! Oh, I love fall too and was just thinking about doing a little bit soon.
Now are you painting your cute little head off? :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Debbie, you are on top of it! I'm still in summer mood.
I'm holding onto summer just a wee bit longer. Ours was late coming and cold...xo Diana
I did decorate on a much larger scale before we sold our house, nowits just changinging the door decor, I have a victorian door poket my daughter gave me when we moved here and I change whats in it for every season, I also change my ornaments on the fireplace and pie pantry,, pumkins and fall colors,, tea towels and I bring out the plaid throws and quilts. Thanks for sharing tonight Debbie,
OH are we all thinking of fall all ready??? I guess its time to start thinking about it...
Miss Debbie we just hit 80 today for like the first time here in the NW there is no way I can think of fall, I have to enjoy this moment...that finally got here:) but you go right ahead and I will taking note so that next month I will have a bunch of ideas...
I'm so with you! Bring on the fall. I'm guessing you aren't going to be going to see the Smerfs movie, so you are probably going to be painting?
I've been seeing fall decor showing up in the stores but so far, I just can't wrap my brain around it. I've only turned on my AC half of ONE day so far this summer. It's been so mild here in Oregon. I'm expected the wedding day (Sept. 3) will be the hottest day of the year, yikes!
I'm still hanging on to summer, Debbie, but I like to buy fall things when I see them on sale just to get ready.
Keep up the great job painting!! :-)
XO,
Jane
My house looks best decorated for fall. I love all my fall stuff. Can't wait either! Stop by for a giveaway.
I must say I'm not quite ready to decorate for fall yet. I have some summer fun still to share. So just what are you painting girl??
I am READY for fall.... I am usually a summer person.. but this summer has been terrible!!! Sooooo I have dragged my wreaths out of the shed and tearing all the old fall decor off and putting on new.... So YES I am ready for fall decor!
Oh I am so ready. However it won't hit here until October some time, but when it does, I will be doing a yip-skip for sure. Can't wait to see all of your decor. Hugs, Marty
Definitely not fall here yet. I'm afraid my fall things will be in storage for some time yet. ;-)
I totally have Fall on the mind...bought a couple items for my fall wardrobe today and was thinking about decorations and lighting my holiday scented candles...can't wait! :)
Liesl :)
I've been counting down to fall since May. I swear.
I haven't seen anyone decorated for fall yet around here seems like after the kids are in school for a few weeks then it starts! Our yard is full of leaves since a storm passed thur here yesterday but has'nt put me in the mood yer:)
I've bought a few things but I think it will be more toned down this year in my house! Have fun!
i cant wait to see what you have up your sleeve for fall.As for me iam hanging on to summer as long as i can :)
I can't wait to see what you do. I love that little painter of yours since I do oil paints myself. No, I am not a rock star member, lol. Just used to play as a hobby...Christine
supposed to be 90 today.. I have my eye on my fall wreath and the few changes I'll make on that as well as planting some mums in the large containers in front. hurry FALL, I am soooooooo ready after this scalding summer we've had.
You may be seeing cooler temps! Not here, 110 today!
Fall is my favorite time of year, too so I will stayed tuned. I just feel like our summer in California was so short...we might have what they call an "indian summer" though.
Debbie, I love fall so much. The weather cools off here.I have a hard time getting excited yet, My glasses are still fogging every time I go outside. Doing anything outside is out of the question. Maybe by November I will have it all in place. WOOHOO! Can't wait for November! Hugs, Ginger
The nights are getting cooler around here & I've been toying with the idea of decorating for fall. It would be nice to decorate while I'm not working yet, but I just can't bring myself to do it. Maybe you'll inspire me to begin early.
Cute!!
I love fall decor and think it's the prettiest of the year. I'm trying to hold myself BACK this year. Last year, I totally jumped in early, and then I kind of got tired of it. I love it too much to get tired of it this year so...
I'll get my fix by the inspiration in blogland.
I'm ready for Fall colors. I've had enough of yellow butterflies and pink coneflowers. Bring on the spicy hues!
I was thinking about fall decorating today. But I'm going to wait until the leaves start turning here-the middle of Sept.
But I look forward to seeing what you come up with!
It's still 97' outside so thinking of Fall is a bit much for me.. but I did make a pumpkin pie last night.. I do this every few months, simply because I love to eat them....
Have fun pushing the seasons...
Sandy
While I think fall is pretty, it really just reminds me that winter is right around the corner - LOL. I do decorate for fall but I tend to do it grudgingly and hold off as long as possible because I feel like I'm giving up summer!
I do, I do, I can feel it in the air. But, for some reason today I got that "wild hair" and all cabinets in the kitchen were emptied and cleaned down with a good sponge of spic and span. Now, we are ready to begin for the fall. Can't wait to see what you are up to with those brushes in hand.
Yes, I love Fall and I have been so anxious to get started too. I usually use Labor Day weekend to get going, but this year I have really been finding it hard to wait.
I love decorating for Fall, too! Our condo is perfect for bringing out the reds, burnt orange and browns of Fall! I call them mountain colors! ♥
Fall is my FAVORITE time of the year! Can't wait to see what you do. and I love the smurf! So you :)
Fall is my favorite time of the year! But will have to wait till this weather cools off before I will be in the mood! Can't wait to see all you do for fall!
I was just thinking I would like to get a head start by redoing some urns with a fall look for my front porch. My flowers died in the heat and my porch needs some quick help. Early fall might just be the answer, right?
Donna
I have to admit, I actually put out some fall goodies today...a tarnished silverplate ice bucket full of Chinese Lanterns! It's early, but I just couldn't wait another day LOL!
I love the Fall and all that goes with it!!! =)
Count me in as being ready ... made a trip to HG yesterday and bought my first Fall goodie! Can't wait to see what everyone does!
I've thought about fall but it's still 100 degrees here.
