Fall decor crafts and more!
Stenciling burlap and playing with twine.
Fall decorating is so much fun!
Nothing like getting a jump start to Fall. I have seen a few gals start already so I am not the first one for a change.
Speaking of change!!!~...........
It was time to get out some stencils and paint!
You know many times you have heard me say, I am NO picasso!
But I love to pretend I am.
Fall is my all time favorite time of year, so from here on in, you will be seeing lots of Fall decor, crafts and decorating on my blog.
Easy vignettes!
Simple embellishments
Or as I like to think of it, as BLING BLING!
You remember this project I started way back?....
This was even featured in Country Woman Magazine
My initital thought and intent, was I can change this simple art out per season, without it costing me a dime.
And that I have been doing..
I have burlap, stencils, paint always on hand for something that tweets in my brain.
Now onto a Fall change and vignette...
Orange burlap, individual letter stencils,
Faux leaves, twine, hot glue,
my handy dandy rooster stencil..and your good to go..
|
I need to get some pretty sunflowers to replace these white daisies..
I will next week. |
Took me all of 30 minutes to create this Fall art..
FREE!
I think I am an artist after all!
Have a great day, thanks for stopping by!
NEWBIE PARTY going on

What a fun project! I love all of the pretty autumn colors! ♥
I'm sad we don't get Fall here:( I used to love it in Canada, playing in the leaves on the way home from school, the days getting shorter and chillier. Oh well. I love your bright and sunny kitchen, how nice to have those windows by your sink:)
Yep...doing the same thing here. LOVE the smurf! We have those all over from our sweet boy Noah!!!
Hip-Hip-Hooray. I'm so glad to see another with Fall on the way. You Pablo is just too cute and fun. Are you starting to think like me, big belly chuckling here on another season changen' day.
I love those green pumpkins and your burlap sign - oh, and the Smurf.
You did good. :)
Only Fall touch I have added so far, I pitched some pots of spent flowers and replaced them with some faux orange and yellow mums. Hope a "purist" does not drop by. :-D
I love your project!! A few trips to Michael's and I am ready to take on a few fall projects. But I haven't started to decorate yet. I am still tweaking summer!!
Love the vignette by your sink!! :-)

Cute vignettes! I am almost ready for Fall to get here!
Very nice! I always decorate for fall on October 1st when it has finally cooled down to 90 degrees. But this year, maybe I'll do it in September while its still 95 degrees! You have inspired me!
Love your little Smurf...you are too cute! Love your fall ideas!

Cindy

Have fun crafting and decorating. Your corner sink looks like mine - even looking out the window, beautiful trees. Have a "smurfing good day"!
I think you are definitely an artist. Love the new sign. Your vignette looks so cute and the green jute pumpkins are fabulous. Thanks for joining TTT. Hugs, Marty
Very pretty, Debbie. You are making me excited for Fall! I love the orange burlap....Christine
Twine, burlap and hot glue, you make my heart go pitter patter.
That is so cute, Debbie! Now if I could just find my paint, & my glue gun, oh, and my stencils! LOL!!!
:) CAS
I think you are an artist too! An artist is not always about fine art..it is about finding art in the ordinary and making it extra-ordinary. You have an artist's heart! xo Diana
Of course you're not Picasso, you're DEBBIEDOO! You are an artist!
I love this!
And, I'm glad to see Fall things coming around. I just broke out some squirrels and a few acorn-ey thingys. I'm ready to say so long to summer.
Nancy
Oh, the smurf is a riot!
Debbie, that frame does get a workout! You are going to force me to try stensils again. Too much fun! Thanks!
Love it! Can't wait to see more fall decor!!! Mine will be breaking out soon!
I love the changeable frame, and I'm getting inspired by the folks jumping into the fall decorating.
Hi Debbie Dear! Honey, you're so good! This is darling and nothing like that little versatile frame! Love the painting Smurf! :)
Be a sweetie,
shelia ;)
You are an artist! Oh, I just can't get into fall yet when it is still in the 90's. I will vicariously live fall through you! Great job!
Carol
Love all your fun touches of fall...makes your lovely home feel even more cozy!
That's really cute! I've not seen colored burlap before, I like it! I have seen some cute little wooden mixing spoons at Michaels in their $1.00 bins which were on sale for .50cents this week. They would be perfect for this project. I also adore your Smurf! I was one of the smurfs biggest fans back in the day when they first came out and had several of those little rubber guys. LOL! Great memories! Thanks for sharing your project and looking forward to seeing more!
Now that's a Smurf after my own heart! Great fall decorating ideas, Debbie. :D
Awesome ideas. I love those apples :)
