Fall decorating in the foyer

I am still Fall decorating, and have moved onto the foyer.
Funny thing is by the time I complete the Fall decorating, I will have to turn around and decorate for Halloween. My boys love it when I do!
I believe I kept Fall pretty simple so I can incorporate it in the Halloween decor.
Let me start with this table makeover.  You see this is going back sometime here when I was throwing Alex his disco party, I was also doing projects.

Not happy with this color whatso ever on this table.  I had to brain storm and figure out what color would work.
I started thinking of some accessory changes I have had throughout the year,
and I remembered my favorite color that was on that wall was red.
Not typically a red furniture person, I decided to go for it.

The original color to this table was just a simple brown with a little patina to it.

I really want to replace this table. All these years, I still have not found anything else, I would like more in it's place.  We have so much wood, I think the iron is a nice add in the room.  Plus it has that Spanish look that we so love.

I forgot to take a picture of the spray paint, yes I used spray paint.  It was the kind you use for industrial machinery, etc...like tractors and such.  Love the color! I believe it was by Krylon.
Now let's see what it looks like dressed up for Fall shall we.
This is kinda of a two in one post, and a mini project thrown in as well.

Started with this cute little Walmart $7.00 owl...

He too like Mr. Squirrel needed some eyes, and a fresh color.

ASCP (Provence)

Love him!

I love using natural elements from my own backyard.

This was a long post girls.  Thanks for baring with me on this.
I had the original table post in my archives, and not to be redundant I threw in the Fall one too.

I'm in love with your owl Debbie. Is there anything chalk paint can't make look amazing? Love your fall vignettes. Great view of the room from above.

The owl really is great! I did a little Fall decorating today so now I need to take MORE pics! Love your foyer! Can't wait to see what you do for Halloween! I found some of the cutest candy corn lights at a clearance store and then again at CVS! You might like them, too!

Debbie I love the owl arrangement! Great idea adding the Halloween books. My 'kids' are all grown now so I just decorate for fall - that way it goes up now and stays up until it's time for Christmas decorations. But when they were little, I did do Halloween decor first and then Thanksgiving . . . it's a lot of work but yours is beautiful!

I think the iron stand looks great in red, I feel the same way sometimes you have to break up the wood with another element. Mr. Owl looks fab now also:)

So pretty. You are great with spray paint and chalk paint. I really like the way you hung the wreath on the mirror, it adds such softness. Your owl centered in the vignette is just great. He is really unusual and just perfect.
