Wood Pallet Fall craft on the cheap!

I love to Fall craft, and on the cheap is even better! I am really digging the wood pallet/crates lately!
Seeing I change things up so often in the kitchen,
there is no sense of spending a lot of money on home decor.
I went to Michael's today, for one thing and one thing only!
Well, I left with more, but again all cheap and marked down.

This little wood crate was marked down to $7.00, plus I had a coupon, so it was even cheaper than that.
HAD no clue what I was going to do with it.

I knew for certain, I would paint it,( ASCP), dark wax it, and then lightly sand.
Wanted it too look a little weathered and worn....

I knew there would be a little bit of stenciling on my project, because, there always is these days.

And seeing it is almost Fall, I thought a tree would be simple and appropriate.

Did I mention I have been canning some home made pizza sauce?
YUM, yes I am, and it is good!

So there it serves a purpose, looks cute, and it took care of my Fall craft fix for the day on the cheap.

Just wanted to show you the other ways these little crates could be used...
Cute right?
Have a great day!
and as always your sweet visits.

Dag-nab-it. That's it I'm dragging the MIL to Michaels on Saturday. I think a stack of these are a must for....well, I bet you can guess just what I might store in there... chuckle-chuckle.

And don't for a second, think I missed that beautiful picnic table, pizza over and all the splendor of your new outdoor "ROOM". There, I said it, you have an addition on your house. I mean my deck is considered another room.

And lastly, I had to pull out a turtleneck this morning. 40 out, so Fall is on it's way.

Thanks again for the fun party. It always good for me to change things up.

That turned out adorable!! Love the shade you waxed and it's perfect in your kitchen. If you tire of it there later you can put towels in a bathroom. Wouldn't a few of those look great in a closet as organizers? Versatile, very versatile.

So cute and clever, Debbie! You just never know where a great "bargain" is going to lead you.

I love your backyard "living space!" Wood doesn't hold up very well in our climate, otherwise I would love an ole fashioned picnic table. It is just so charming. Can't wait to see your pizza oven!

I'm so anxious to join one of your Copy Cat parties, but I have to get my craft room set up first, because I'm pretty sure I will need my glue gun for something!
Have a great weekend!

There's no Michael's in my neck of the woods but I love the tree you stenciled on the side of the crate. Where did you get it??? Please blab! I am trying to find just the right tree for a project and that might fit the bill...or maybe I'll have to add curly roots too. I dunno. We'll see!
