Fall Mantel 2011 Newbie party started!~
Been a crazy hectic weekend if you been reading.
Glad to have you here this week for the newbie party.
Finally my Fall mantel is complete!
Also, this old sessions clock is always a decorating dilemma.
You see my husband loves this clock he purchased off of ebay several years ago.
The one time I moved it to decorate the Christmas mantel, the leg broke.
Since then, I am forbidden to move it.
The clock seems to work in OK..I suppose there is no choice...unless it accidentally falls off the mantel,
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...JK, I am not that evil! really
Now onto Halloween soon.....
Although, I am just showing this to you now, I have had my Fall mantel up for a while, so we did get to enjoy it.
Halloween is my fun one!
Enjoy the season!

That is so beautiful and autumn looking! You did a fantastic job transforming the mantel.
Your mantel is beautiful Debbie! Nice job on it!
Pam
You did it again - out done yourself, that is. That grapevine does not look easy to work with, but you showed it who's the boss! Thanks for hosting the party, always so fun to see what everyone is up to.
Very Pretty - and I like the clock in with the Fall decor. So far no Fall decorations here - maybe soon. I bet your son is really excited about their big win. :D
Your mantel looks great! I wish my TV niche wasn't above mine so I could properly decorate it for Fall!!
Looking good!
Debbie, I absolutely love your mantle. You did a great job creating a beautiful Autumn vignette. I love the vine and the fullness on the other side of the mantle, simply GORGEOUS!! Thanks for sharing, it's such a treat! XO ~Liz
Debbie, I love the twirly crispy vine! The rhythmic movement it provides is stimulating to my senses and keep smy eye wandering around your whole display. Divine! andrea@ townandprairie
What a GOREGOUS mantle Debbie. I love the autumn colors but I don't decorate, redecorate I mean, until Christmas.
Have a beautiful week.

Great job. You room looks so cozy and comfy now.
Beautiful mantel Debbie. I love the vine you used and it is not easy to work with. I wrapped a Christmas Tree with it one year, yah, a little nuts. And the clock fits in nicely.
Marianne :)
Debbie, your mantel looks spectacular. Thanks for being an awesome host. I can only link up to the Newbie Party one more time after this. Where did the time go?
Your mantel turned out so lovely and I especially like the glittery pumpkin! Thanks again for hosting the party:)
Beautiful fall mantel! I love the twiggy vine especially. I think your hubby's mantel clock fits in well :o) My dad is a clock master, so I LOVE to hear the clocks chime and strike when we are visiting... He sets the ones that he restores, repairs or cleans for his customers to chime and strike at various times in his basement workshop.
Blessings & Aloha!
Thank you so much my dear friend for popping over! You are so very sweet! I had to laugh at your comment about "marrying off" your son already :o) Our kids like to bring up the fact that my hubby and I were so young when we married...and I can see why my dad made me give back the ring & wait for at least another year! Sheeesh...we were mere babies, but of course, felt sooo much older! haha Hugs to you my friend!
That vine might have been a pain to work with but it looks great!! Love you fall mantel Debbie! Martina
I really like how you used the grapevine mixed with greenery in your fall decorations. I hadn't thought of that before! Hope you're getting some rest now after your weekend away.
Your mantel looks so pretty! I love the fall/winter seasons and all the holidays:) I can't wait to start decorating for Xmas!!!
Maybe the clock could have a little accident while you're innocently dusting around it:)
Your mantel is beautiful, Debbie. I actually love the clock there and it's gorgeous. No wonder your hubby likes it....Christine

Your mantel looks very pretty, Debbie! I love using faux pumpkins to decorate as there is no chance of a mess from spoliage.
Autumn is my favorite time of year. You embrace it beautifully. I also want to tell you how lovely I think it is that you always leave a personal comment to what I post on the newbie party.

Even though I am a food blogger, I love coming here to see all the great ideas for decorating and crafts. Today I bring Surprise Meat Loaf. This a great comfort dish for this time of year and stretches 1 1/2 lbs. of ground beef to serve 8 to 10. Thanks as always for hosting this great party. What a service it is to us newbies. Have a wonderful week.
