Vintage shoe form and blogging friends!
First thing we did was meet for breakfast, sorry no pics, too busy gabbing and eating.
Then we hit sleepy poet...
Asking yourself why I have this picture...well it was here we starting yelling, "HELP needed in aisle 9"
We needed help to have an employee take our picture.
{Cindy, me and Carrie}
they are as sweet as they look!
We promised the employee we would buy something and not just walk around being obnoxious...well that is hard for me to promise. We were very well behaved, except a few times stopping in the dead of aisles just to chit chat and not let elders pass us by.
We all did leave with a thing or two...
remember I had a story to this...
This was the first time Carrie had seen a shoe form. I told her they were very popular and people use them in their decor all the time.
Then, I thought...why NOT all three us buy one at $10.00, not sure if that is a deal or not, but anyway,
buy it, and after the NEW year, challenge ourselves to come up with something really creative and fun.
So that is what we did, and you will have to stay tuned after the Holiday to see what we come up with.
I HAVE NO CLUE!
Thanks Cindy and Carrie for a great day!
Have a great night everyone,
the weather is a bit weird here, very cold, windy and strange sky..

First, I'm just fine. It's been one of those blah days, with lots of family stuff going on, behind the scene. But, I did get out for my walk. Not to worry, I'll be back to normal soon.
Any who, I have one of those shoe forms stashed some where, in some box of antiques. I can't wait to see what you all do. I might have to go on a hunt around here and find mine.
I sure wish I lived near by. I would have gone too. What fun you all had.
Looks like y'all had fun. Wish I lived closer. That is an average price on those. Same very cold windy weather here, too. brrrrrr
I am jealous! It looks like you girls had WAYYY too much fun! You are all just adorable.
I can't wait to see what you come up with for your shoe form...but I'm betting there won't be any shoes involved. xo Diana

Fun, fun, and you three are adorable. I sell those vintage forms for eight to twelve dollars on consignment. So the price is fair.

What a great day! I love the shoe form and have sold a few in my space. You may inspire me to keep one.
How fun a day for you 3! Wish I were there. Shoe forms are all over my house. Decorations, paper weights, candle sticks, etc. Celeste @ larearose blog is the best artist ever in her 'doings' with these shoe forms.
Anxious to see where you 3 go with your shoe forms.
Merry Christmas ~
TTFN~
Hugs,
Marydon

Sounds like a fun time. I love spontaneous challenges like that. When I did the cookie week with Angie she suggested we do containers for the cookies to go in, so I had to put my thinking cap on and get to work on something for the cookies to be packaged in. It ended up being lots of fun.
How fun! That looks like y'all were enjoying yourselves.
Great idea on the shoe form...I can't wait to see what y'all come up with.
Those pictures of the evening sky look eerie... at first I thought if was fire. But we've had skies that look like that before.
take care~
Pat

Looks like you beautiful ladies had a blast. Can't wait to see what you do with that form. I need to do something with mine. Christmas Blessings. Audrey Z.
Love it. I was thinking of starting a linky party where thrifters like us...took, say 25.00 dollars, and the challenge would be to go thrifting and see how creative you could be with your 25 dollars ONLY. NOT going over. Wouldn't it be fun to see what people come up with? I will do it after Christmas! Love your shoe form!
Hi DEbbie,
Buona giornata :))
Myriam
Wonderful time you all had.Sounds marvelous.Merry Christmas

Sounds like a fun day! I have a pair of forms too. I haven't done anything with them, just on display. The weather changed here as well and it's pretty darn cold! Stay warm :)
