Abstract art {please do not laugh}
In the eyes of my 10 year old, he thought I was an artist...poor kid has no clue.
As you can see I need to take the class again, again, and again.

How fun! Art is all in the interpretation, right? LOL!!! I think they look great! And, of course, you did yellow! It's so sunny...just like you!
I don't know what you are talking about...I LOVE your painting and so wish I could do something like that....that should be hung in a place a distinction for sure...marvelous colors, so perfect!
Looks like you all had a great time. I *LOVE* your painting, you did a fantastic job. I love the colors you used, too! Thanks for sharing. You even look stylish in a smock/apron! ;) xo ~Liz
I think it's great that you went ahead & did something outside your comfort zone! I think your painting is actually cute and something to be proud of.
I love that painting and would hang it in my home for sure. It's so bright and cheerful - the perfect painting to bring sunshine to our gray Oregon rainy day.
YES! A wonderful compliment! When I get to going good...I say I'm in Debbiedoo mode! It's a way of life now! Love your art...very cheery, like you! ♥
I think it's great! You could auction it off for charity if you don't want to keep it!!! But I really think it's lovely! Great job!
Debbie, apparently my daughter thinks you have some talent! Yellow is her absolute favorite color, and she likes it, so that just confirms that you have the official title of "budding" artist. Congrats!
You are being too hard on yourself. Your son is right! I'd buy that painting... It's beautiful!!
Hello Debbie, I love your Yellow Peried abstract, very cool.
Also just to let you know that I have tried four times to email to you your images but the email keeps getting bounced back.
Let me know if you have another email I can send them too, thanks Maureen.
Looks like a great time was had by everyone :o) Your painting is really very good....I love the color! You should be proud to display it in your home!

Well, I personally think you could give Picasso a run for his money. You did a marvelous job. The best part was the fun you all had. Good for you!
I'm no Picasso either, but I don't think your canvas is half bad dear! The up close shots of your daisy doodles look good. Then again, I don't have the eye of Picasso either!
~Bliss~
Your *daisydoodle* is wonderful! Sounds like it was a fun time with friends! Happy Saturday! ~Marcy
Thank you ladies, you are too sweet! XO
You did a grand job. Better than I could do. Looks like loads of fun.
Debbie please don't tell your friends that I said this but very honestly...I like yours the best. Hey girlfriend you just might be the next Renoir. (smile) What a blast you all must have had. Fun fun group and the art's not bad either. (smile)
Nann
Fabulous! This post made me smile big!

Well, I'm not laughing but I AM smiling! I hope that is allowed. Debbie-You did a beautiful job! I think it is wonderful and so YOU! Half the fun of a class like that is the company you keep~ Now...where to hang that baby? xo Diana
Gosh that does look like a lot of fun! I think you did a fantastic job! Yours really stands out from the rest with your pretty shade of yellow too. You'll have to let us know where you're going to hang it now.
I knew, before even LOOKING at your painting it was gonna be awesome...and,
SURE 'NUFF !!
How fun that would be....hope someone does that around here. I'd jump in with both feet, just'cause YOU did, but I would never, in one hundred trillion years, show it on my blog UNLESS by some freak of nature and I was struck by lightening and the Heavens opened up, mine came even CLOSE to yours.
It really is adorable....and I LOVE the yellow.:) So glad you had fun....and I might add that you looked like a million dollars doing your painting.:)
This looks like it was so much fun, Debbie. And your painting looks wonderful! You don't have to be a Picasso to have a great time!
XO,
Jane
I told you ! I knew you could do it!! Beautiful and fun right?
And the booze helps to loosen you up! ha ha ha , I think this is just the beginning of a new hobby for you.And you did beautiful!
Debbie, these paintings look amazing! I know you had fun! I think your painting is fabulous! I'm now following on Linky Follower; I didn't realize I wasn't following on it already.
Looks like a fun time.I think you painting looks great. But hey if YOU don't like it you could always use the excuse "It was the alochol" ;-)
I think it turned out great!
Well Debbie...I am no Picasso either...but it sure looks great to me! I think it should be hung with pride and to let everyone see just how dang crafty you are! I love it...and I really love the close up of it! Greta job girl!
Be proud - hang it over your mantel - it deserves a place of honor!
Kelly
I love it! You did great! You have talent!
Your painting is great! I have done 6 of those "follow the leader" paint classes over the last year. I love them but they get expensive. It's the most fun with a group of about 8 girlfriends, beverage of choice and nibbles. My favorites are my 2 oil paintings...the colors are so vibrant! Hoping to do another class soon!
wow that looked like fun just seen on the houswifes they had a paint party .But the Teacher was at the head showing them what to do they where all the same .Love your top and your purse too i seen it on the table lol:)
I would never laugh. What a lovely evening of fun you all had. Your's has your name all over it. Have you found it's new home yet?
Always good to spread your wings especially when you have do much fun doing it :0)
Picasso or not, you did great! the main thing was having fun right? and it looks like you accomplished that :)
You're an ar-TIST! Pretty, and I love the yellow!
Now that's my kinda fun! I would love this! I think each of you did a wonderful job!
I think your daisy doodle is fabulous! In my next life I want to be able to paint .....And sing!
Carol
Looks like you all followed the instructions to the letter! To be creative. It was amazing to me when I took painting classes and the teacher would say, "OK, we're all going to paint 'this'. These are the colors to buy before class, this is the size canvas, which brushes, yada yada." And, just as you all did, we all looked at her painting, and when she said, "We're all here to have fun!" That's about all it took for us to go on our merry way to creativity!
I mean, just as you all did, we followed the rules, we followed some basics - a few, well maybe just a couple, OK one - we all cleaned our brushes!
We had a blast and all felt as proud! I love the Debbiedoosdaisydoodles! You've just got to keep the name, make a name tag!
Great job,
Donna
I think you did a fantastic job. It's a dog, right? Kidding. Glad you had fun!
Oh my gosh Debbie, how fun that looks! I think you did an amazing job, I love it:) It's so *you*!
Debbie, I think your painting is whimsical and adorable, just like you. I can tell you had a blast.
Debbie, what a fun evening for a group of girlfriends. Good for you. You should keep this up! Like your painting. ~ Sarah
Yep! You are a YELLOW girl. I know, "snow"? We all have Spring on the brain ;) It's LOVELY and will fit right in your home. So glad you tried something new and had fun!
IMHO, Picasso painted dark and depressing things...you would NEVER be like him! :-) I took art lessons for a bit after retirement and one lesson we had to do a Picasso woman ~ not my style at all.
You know I love the color you used and yes, it's the best one of the group! Glad you had fun and yes, the other girls did great too.
xo
Pat
Girl you did real good!! Looks like you guys had a fun evening too!
Hi Debbie Dear! Just got in town last night and had to pop over and see what you've been up to! Oh, what a fun time you all must have had and don't sell yourself short! I love your pretty yellow painting - it's you! :)

ok~ I am loving the yellow! the floophy flowers and that lazy looking tree...
but mostly that yellow~
looks like fun.
I think painting must be in the air right now, because I want to paint too. I was looking at supplies the other day. No lessons for me, I'm just going to throw caution to the wind...or in this case paint to the canvas!
Pat
Hello Debbie :))
è vero che non sei Picasso, però a me il tuo quadro piace moltissimo !!!!
Siete donne fantastiche :)
Myriam
I so wish there was a place like that nearby. Looks like a fun Girl's Night Out! You did a great job, Picasso! :-)
Debbie,
That looks like a fun class. I should pick up a paint brush at some point, other than one to paint the wood trim in my house!
-Karen
I am following :)
What a fun night out and you get to bring a masterpiece home with you.!
Guess what...I did some checking and WE DO HAVE a place to paint......and drink wine at the same time. I am about to have a runaway to do this. Daughter is in Vegas as we speak but when she comes home, we're gonna do it.
Now, mind you....I can't draw a straight line....never could....and probably will never be able to....but, hey, girl....gotta stay up, ya know. Keeps one young....well.....maybe not YOUNG but....happy. :)))
xoxo bj
Debbie, What a fun thing to do with friends! I think all the paintings turned out great.
