Magazine copy cat challenge! {Valentine craft diy}

I am ready and very excited to see what you all came up with for the first magazine copy cat challenge of the year. I am sharing a very fun Valentine craft!

I saw this cute cupcake paper wall art, and figured I would give it a quick whirl.   Had everything on hand, and how perfect with Valentine's day coming up...

Sweet Success
Icing on the (Cup)Cake

{BHG}

I already had the white little canvas boards, cupcake liners both large and small.
Hot glue gun....and BAM...DONE!

I did add a little extra on my board.  I took a paper heart doiley and lightly stenciled the opening so the heart shape would appear as well on the canvas board.

I had a few faux cupcake accessories from Pier I...
to create the cupcake theme on my pallet.

Hope you enjoyed the challenge!
Let's get this partay started!~

Please be sure to add my graphic or link to your post.
THIS IS NOT a NEWBIE party link up today, please return next Monday for that.

Your copy cat must be sourced out as well.

Have fun!~

IF YOU FOUND that your link was deleted, I am not being mean, just keeping this PARTY today strictly for MAGAZINE copy cat challenges. I must keep it fair to all who took the time to create this challenge special for my party.  If you did not add my link or button as well, I must delete. {sorry}these are my rules.
NEWBIE party will resume next Monday.

{DIY} Valentine craft idea on a dime

When I tell you this DIY Valentine art work {craft} took me all of a few minutes and just a few dollars, that is the truth!
Of course most of my crafts are done on a dime, that is the fun of it.

Started with a blank white canvas board, Graphite chalk paint that was recently loaned to me by a friend here. I wanted to test out the color.  I love it, but it is NOT going to be the one for the entertainment center.
Much to cool with the butter walls.
Stencil bought at Hobby lobby for 2.00.

I made this craft for our bedroom, which is getting ready for Spring soon.
I know we are still in January, I just meant Cleaning wise.

Special gift from my FIL this past Christmas.  He said it has been in the family for over 80 years.
I love it!

Painted the canvas Graphite, let it dry,
taped my stencil on lightly,
and used a stencil brush and craft paint to fill in my stencil color.

{DIY} art work on canvas {a for sure oops, now what?}

I wanted to share this very quick DIY artwork done on canvas for the Holidays.
 I did not intend for this project, it just came about!

You see I bought these wine labels, Martha Stewart line that I thought would be cute on wine bottles.

They did not stick right.  The labels were curling off and looked terrible. Good thing I only paid $2.99 for the pack, because I would have had to take it up with Martha otherwise...LOL! I still love her though!

I just happened to buy a pack of 10 little canvas boards and thought, let me make some cute art work with these labels.

I always have some spare cute little embellishments around.

I just added a touch of Christmas to the Le bain this year.
I guess I was too lazy to go all out.

However, you get the gist in here...so that's all that matters.

{Dollar tree}

The "Let is snow" theme was definitely it for me this year...I just was drawn to the Quote.
Not that I love snow or anything, because truly I do NOT.

Cost of my art work, around $2.50!
I have 9 more canvas boards to work with, not sure what I plan on doing with those.

Heading out to Tarjay' now.
Have a good day.

I thank each and everyone of you for joining my Newbie party each week.
Have a wonderful weekend!
I am betting today a lot of you are running around like  chickens with their heads cut off.
{who ever came up with that saying, it's a little disturbing}

 I have a few new buttons in the works.
My dear friend Carol  {The polka dot closet} made them for me, and I thank her.
Now I just have to add the html, and I am good to go.
Feel free to grab one and just link it in your html gadget...we should all know how to do that by now.

Craft and home decorating ideas {Homerama in Charlotte, NC}

When a friend asked me to go to the Homerama, I was excited to go along.
I had first heard about it through a  blogging friend Cindy....she took complete home tour pics you may love to see.
(I am just sharing some crafts I spied)
  Baxter village is only 10 minutes away from me, so it was a fun fast trip to head on up.

The homes we toured were all in the upper 500,000's and up.  Of course way out of my price range.
I loved a lot of their craft idea's and we can all afford to do most.

If you recall I just did something like this with an old Goodwill mirror.  This sat pretty in a dining room area....all dressed up for Fall.

This next idea my gal pals and I decided we are having a small burlap party.
We are making these placemats for the holidays, and I have a small twist to add to them...they are so cute and so simple.

Each one had a different saying.
Next,
Here is something my Mom used to do, hang baskets all over the kitchen walls...
I really love this idea and forgot all about it until today.

How about cute lamp embellishing? This looked like a simple butterfly patch..
easy peasy.

My friend Mary has two daughters and she loved this idea.  How easy, craft hoops, material,
and felt.

Just adorable for a girls room.

Such fun colors in here too.  I spy an OWL.
{Bathroom}

Pretty apothecary jars filled...

{Laundry room}

This looked really cute.  Just some simple craft trims rolled in  to flowers and then some streaming down.

Adorable.

How about a pantry like this girls?
Loved the wrap around wine rack with the chalk boards.

this idea is so easy too..these were just wood letters painted.  You can buy them inexpensive with coupons and make your own wall art just the same for a nursery.

I spy another owl...

Well that about wraps it up.  I certainly can't afford the house, but I can afford the crafts!
So let's get busy!
{Us girls getting silly and comfy in a media room}

Thanks for stopping by.
See you later on tonight for the newbie party.
