A new doo!

Have you ever looked in the mirror, and thought to yourself...I am so over you and this look?

I used to be very creative with my hairstyles, cut and color.

Seems since I started blogging my creativity is just on my home and not myself.

So today,that was it!

I went to my hairdresser and I told her, Have fun, do what you want!

She was very excited to say the least.

She chopped, highlighted and added a few new feather heads.

Yeah,  I know I am probably too old for this look, but hey, trying to stay young.

My older boy said I look like a teenager...is that a good thing or a bad thing???

Funky fun hairstyle!

So, I have to be honest and tell you, turning 45 kinda put me in a funky, funk! I really have not expressed this to anyone else til now.  Not sure what it is.  Turning 40 never even phased me.
 Well anyhow, if you have been reading you know all about my hair transitions in the past few years.  

This past week or so, I really despised my hair days.  Not sure if it is the weather change, but being I have fine hair to begin with, I was really having some BAD hair days.

So today I went to my usual hair dresser over at Great clips, yep you heard me, 13.00 hair cuts are the best.  I tip well though, because I almost feel bad it is that cheap.

I told my gal Joy, I wanted fun and funky and I was tired of this boring, MOM look. 

Ok see what I mean about the age thing..fuzzies on the chin, lines on the neck..this SUCKS!
 FORGET a magazine calling me, how about a plastic surgeon..HELLO, I am right here for ya! Just make sure you are Board certified!

This picture is ridiculously serious. 

 You know it is awkward taking a picture of yourself and smiling..a little odd I might say.

Date night, laughter and OYSTERS!

YUK to the oysters! You like them? I won't even try one, and all the work it takes to even get to one of those slimy things is not worth it in my opinion.!

Mike and I went on a date night.  We actually went out with two other couples to eat and then a comedy club!

It was an awesome night.

My 13 year old takes horrible pictures. And as always look at my husband with his most serious look! I swear to you, he really is a happy guy LOL!

This dude Evans, was the funniest! He really entertained the guest and we never stopped laughing.  Can you believe it was only $10.00 a ticket? I thought geez, how does this poor guy make any money?

And for you gals who have asked me about my hair.

Well, I don't have great hair, very fine in texture.  I do know how to play with it though.

I do not go to some big ticket salon either:

I pay $13.00 a hair cut, I have my same favorite gal.
I color my own hair with nice n easy! And I like to use a little of the sculpting paste, and of course hairspray!

Cheers! Yes, I like beer...good beer, like an IPA.  If you never tried an IPA you are missing out.  A little on the fruity side, smooth and just right.  Not too many though...Have a good day!

It's starting to get hairy around here!

HA! I really know how to grab your attention now don't I? You thought you were going to come over and there was going to be something really juicy and good.
THIS post is about my hair growing process. Back in January when I first started blogging. I felt the need for a hair change.  When I met my husband I had long hair. Then slowly I started going shorter and shorter.  Mike always liked it short. Well Being in my mid 40's I suppose I want to look just a wee bit younger, and for some reason longer hair can make you feel that way.  Come along the hair journey won't you??

Last summer...short and spikey!

Oh and have I mentioned I have undergone many hair color changes. This was also last summer, with the red look. I have been a blonde...but I can't find any pictures on my computer to show you.

Now moving onto January/February when I first declared I am growing out my hair.

 I liked this, could have lived with it for awhile, but this certainly is not long.

 APRIL, not happy having to wear headbands now, really trying hard.

Hated my hair this day. Funny you can remember hating your hair on a day, but can't remember what you ate yesterday.

It's starting to grow now....

Today's current state. I really thought it would be longer by now. I do still get it cut every 5-6 weeks to keep it healthy. I feel like I have the 80's look now though. I did LOVE the 80's! So tell me your thoughts...do you like it shorter, medium, this length, keep it going...I will not get my feelings hurt either way:)
P.S. Yes this is blowed out and curled just a tad. I have very thin hair.
