Winter Mantel decorating! {rustic}

Hello, hello there!
  Time for a Winter Mantel.
All I can say is it has been chilly willy here these past few days!
Thought I would do a winter mantel this year.  I usually put everything back to normal after the Christmas decorating.

Every since we have moved to the Carolina's which was 6 years ago, we do get a tad bit of snow each year.
Last year, it was more than a tad.
Anyhow, thought I would do the snow flake scene around here.

You see the little chicken feeder in the middle?  I scored that at the Sleepy poet while out with my blogging friends.

I had no clue what I was going to do with it...but I think I put it to good home decor use.

Had to keep out a pair of ice skates, just in case we get some freezing temps, I will have Mike skate to work.

I love the new yellow candle crock Mike bought for me.
You use gel to set the fire.  You may have noticed it on my Christmas eve post.
Love it!

Lucy looks snug as a bug!

Have a wonderful evening everyone!

From my front porch to yours

Your fireplace mantle looks beautiful.

I actually have a few of those snowflakes that I didn't end up putting on my tree. I had my husband pack them back away with the other Christmas decorations. Now, why didn't I think to use them in that way?!

Love those snowflakes! I used to hang snowflakes from the ceiling of my classroom. I always left them up from Dec-March until all hope of snow was gone. I wish we had snow to go along with this current cold weather!

Debbie- I love your snowflakes and what a pretty winter mantle. Love it. Do you know we still don't have any snow here and it is supposed to be 40º tomorrow? We usually have a 2 or 3' base by now. Crazy weather. I hope to start de-Christmasing tomorrow- xo Diana

Burr! It sure HAS been cold outside! Your mantle looks so cute and wintry. I left my wintry wreath up on the mantle but took down all the rest of the Christmas decor. That's about as far as I got. LOL! I really like your yellow crock. It's pretty and interesting sounding too. I haven't seen any refillable gel candles? You may have to feature this more for us! Stay warm!

I'm so glad to see this. I want to do a fabulous winter mantel and need inspiration. I even searched the words on pinterest, but they are all too Christmasy. This is terrific and just cute and wintery.

It's been colder than usual in south Georgia, too, but it's still sunny so it's OK.

I tried to leave a comment on a more recent post, but blogger is acting up, so I couldn't.

I love coming by here and just looking at all the lovely things you do while I drink my morning coffee.

Your master bath, your gorgeous master bath, is your least favorite room in your house? I should be so lucky. :)

How do you stencil glass like that Debbie? Is it scrub-able?

Your mantel is lovely. Where did you find the giant snowflakes??

Happy New Year, Debbie!
