DIY dishtowel pillow talk!

Must be the season of pillow talk! I made this DIY no sew dishtowel pillow some time ago, and forgot to share it!
Surprisingly enough, it still is in it's original place, when I show you, you will understand why I find this to be a surprise.

I loved the warm color and pattern of this dishtowel, and my intent was just to use it in the kitchen.

Then one fine sunny morning walking out of our bedroom, I realized the color scheme was the same as the pub room curtains...
sooooo....I whipped out my liquid glue stitch, folded the towel in half, stuffed it, ironed it,
and plopped it down on the chair.

I waited for Mike to notice it, and he of course did, because this is HIS man cave...

I said, I know, I know you hate it!
He replied with, "well it's not my favorite" but it's not bad either...
That was In Novemeber, and it still sits in the very same place.

Lucy loves the man cave too!
{Mike actually took this picture of Lucy}
I did not know it until I uploaded my pictures one day..
I love this picture, she is so CUTE!
XO
Have a great day...

That is a cool pillow! So there is absolutely no sewing involved? Just the liquid stuff? I could do that! Maybe... ;-)

I laughed when I saw Lucy's photo, for some reason she reminded me one of the old time bathing beautifes shots you would see in an old magazine,, ( I know I'm strange but she did), so cute, its amazing what beautiful tea towels they make isn't it, I made a beautiful tote bag for my girls from some a couple of summers ago and they were really nice.
I think it made a lovely pillow and Mikes man cave is the envy of all man cave dwellers I'm certain of that.

I'm laughing at you because I made a dish towel pillow too and forgot to post about it. I made mine out of Christmas dish towels and they are put away now but I did purchase some cute dish towels to make other pillows though. I'm hoping to get them done sometime this week. Enjoy your day Debbie. Gail

Love the pillow! I hit on a big sale at Walmart a few years ago, & they had all these wonderful & really nice quality tea-towels on sale for less than a buck. I grab several (should have grabbed more or ALL). I made some into pillows & others for their intended purpose.

The Man Cave looks great! The Man is just about finished with his & then I'll share.

Guys are funny about throw pillows... My husband calls all the "extra" pillows on the bed girl pillows.
I like the pub pillow; it goes well with the room.
Have a great day.

Yep, and I do like the pillow. Amazing how just a little something extra can make us feel so good. I collect dishtowls and have drawers of them. Some I have given away to daughters but perhaps I should rummage through one of those drawers... :)
