Good Day everyone! I thought this Topic may be funny!

The term Cougar has been running rampant for a while. It cracks me up. What is a cougar you ask? Well it is not the one at the Zoo I am talking about. The short answer would be an older woman who is primarily attracted to, and has relations with significantly younger men. Usually the woman is over 40 and going for the age of 25 or younger. What do you think of this? Do you know a cougar? Not in Hollywood in your real life. If so tell me about her......and if you do not know a cougar what is your opinion on one??

Hi Debbie just read the message you left on my space so excited about your blog! As for the topic today I say go for it girl men have been dating and marrying younger women forever! No different for a man than a woman if you are both consenting adults why not!

I know one- not going to say who it is, but I think some women who do that can't come to grips with the reality of getting older. In instances like that I think it's sad and pathetic. At the same time though I think there are women who truly have just happened to fall in love with a younger man. That I see absolutely nothing wrong with. Depends entirely what the relationship is based on- insecurities or truth.

Funny, funny, Debbie!! Well, I'm 45 and my husband is 34. We met when I was 38 and he was 27. We really are soul mates. We met while entertaining troops in Europe. He was "my" guitarist. I saw "Purple Rain" on your play list, and that was one of the songs we did. I was just electrified. I was singing and the passion I could see in his face was so incredible. Long story short, he is not the typical guy either. He is very mature and family oriented, so for us it works very well:-) We were just meant to be!!

Wow, Anita, I just learn more and more about you. You go girl!! Age doesn't matter when it happens like that and you aren't just purposely going out to find a younger man cause you think that is the cool thing to do. I am glad it has worked out for you. My husband is 5 1/2 years older than me and came with a four year old son, but we are soul mates, too and will celebrate our 35th anniversary next month!!

OK, I have to chuckle. Both 30 and 40 passed my without much ado, but some women I run into are having such a hard time with it...the aging thing. Rich thinks its pretty funny to see the neighborhood moms when they'r eon the prowl.
