FrOm TrAsh to TreAsure~

This was my very first SUMMER redo project. Thrown to the curb and disposed of as junk! That certainly is not the way I saw this gem.  Very heavy piece at that, I managed to throw it in the back of my SUV and off I went.  I already had a color in mind, and could not wait to get started. First things, first. Clean this baby up.
I used a mild dish soap and cloth and wiped it down.  The piece had some substantial rusty spots that I lightly sanded.  Because the piece was light, I did not feel it needed to be primed.
I have had it for over a year now, and the spray paint job has held up well.
Come take a look for your self.

Pretty bad shape, and then the miracle unravels right before your very own eyes...
And TAA DAA..........

Added some fun colorful accessories and I have a pretty display piece for the summer!
If only they could see it now.
