Garage Salen partay # 3 linky up!~
Time to have some fun girls! I look so forward to seeing what you all scored this week. One of my husband and I's favorite thing to do is to antique shop. We have a favorite antique mall we love called Sleepy Poet. There are rows and rows of vendors and needless to say the coolest stuff. Mike was off on Wednesday and it has been about six months since our last visit...it was time
This is just the first aisle when you walk in. You could literally spend hours in here, and we have in fact done so in the past. Today we had nothing in mind....we are running out of space. But of course we always spot something worth adopting......
Hello there old Gothic weird looking piece....you found your new home. Mike spotted this when we where heading to the front...I said ohhhh that is cool, how much....we looked at the tag it said $15.00....I said SOLD!~ It is younger we think than our usual taste....we think it is from the 70's but we really like it.
Ok your next!~ Thanks for participating, and please remember to link back to my party. I see a lot of gals that have linky parties are very adamant about this, and have in fact deleted posts....please do not make me do that....I want to have fun!!~ So let's go.....Mr. Linky is up early, as I had some anxious gals out there........so hey now your a rock star get your game on....My party is ONLY for things not purchased in a retail store. Thank you all for participating...it means the world to me. And also thank you for visiting some of the other participants. We all know how much work goes into one little post....and we all love the visits!~
I will be linking up this post to some other parties as well....Thank you all you lovely hostesses!~

At first I thought you were starting this partay really early. I love your gothic lantern thingy. Very unique!
Very interesting and it looks great on your porch! I will try to link up for your party this weekend!!

Yes Debbie that is so 70's as I use to have a house full of spanish decorator back then...WOW!! I'm glad the antique bug hit me when it did ha ha!! Your par-ty sounds like fun girl...let me see what I got in my picture file...Hugs and smiles Gl♥ria
that lantern fits right in i bet it is so happy to be living at your house:)
Ok I am just not sure I dig the old gothic weird looking piece?? I bet everyone else is going to say they love it!

What a great find! You have amazing taste!
It's a rare day to get my man to go antiquing and he's usually an amused browser not a buyer. For him it's more equivilant to visiting a museum. LOL! So neat you both share a love for the hunt! This does seem a bit different from your usual style but not so far off the mark. Really! You have a way of making things work. It's nice on the porch!
Oh I could get lost in a place like that!!! That lantern is awesome and looks great where you put it. So glad I found you on Tickled Pink...I'm your newest follower.
Lots of yummy love,

I haven't been to Sleepy Poets since they moved to their new location, but I agree with you about spending hours in there! Everytime I go by, I swear I'm going to stop but I never seem to have the time. I have some vacation time coming up so maybe I can take a day to visit.
Don't you just love things that are different and not what everybody else has? Very cool.
That's a very interesting lantern, and I like the way it looks too.
Happy Memorial Weekend my friend…Hugs and Smiles Gl♥ria
I want to go to Sleepy Poet's! Mom! You always have such interesting posts and this one is no exception. The lantern is way cool and think how you can incorporate it into a totally gorgeous Halloween display!! I think I may have lantern envy.
fun and quirky :D
I wish I could get my Bobby G. to enjoy antiquing with me. He does go with me but there is still lots of eye rolling going on. :) LOL....I am all ready for the yard sale party tomorrow...I posted early as I will be on the go all day Saturday. Just waiting for Mr. Linky to go up. Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.
Oh Debbie! I am coming over to your partaaay this weekend! Looking forward to it, since I was gone last weekend. I'll bring the Sangria!!
Great idea. I guess you are living in one of the Carolinas. Me, too.
Stop and visit us tomorrow if you like. We will be celebrating Pink Saturday's 2nd Birthday.
Okay, so I didn't know you were having a partay!
But I will be here next week, so look out!
I love the lantern--it is unique--like you!
HUGS!!
Debbie,
I have your button on the post...I guess you missed that cute button of yours...hope you have a FUN party and a FUN weekend...I will be heading to the beach:)
Blessings,
Linda
Oh that looks like a fun store! I love what you found, it goes with your style:)
I'm glad you enjoyed my post! It's amazing what a Bud light and a recliner can do for a man:) No worries about the post office and have a wonderful weekend! Thank you for hosting your fun partay!!!
What a totally cool find.
Hi Debbie!
Love the picture of the antique mall. Wow! The thrill of the hunt.
Also, that amber glass on the black wrought iron piece is identical to a pair of wall sconces I bought back in 1972 in Phoenix, AZ. Now the rest of the "adornment" I will admit was not on mine. But I would know that amber glass anywhere. Great find!!
I'll be back.

I love your lantern...I'll bet it makes very romantic lighting on your porch in the evening...
Thanks for hosting - what a neat antique mall...
"Hello old Gothic weird looking piece..."
You crack me up!
It goes well on the front porch!!

Hi Debbie, Thank you for hosting such a fun party! I have met many new friends over the last few weeks. Thank you for visiting and leaving your kind comment on my Compote and Cherry Basket found at GW. I can't believe what awesome things I have found over the last few weeks. I'm hooked on thrift shopping...Who knew?
Hugz,
Kim
Great lantern. Great post! Fun meme! I linked up today!
Happy Sunday!
I love your lantern!!! What color are you going to spray paint it??? :-) It is so neat. Hope you have a wonderful weekend! I made it to Michigan and am getting my BFF fix! Back to blogging next week!
Too cool, Debbie! Sometimes these things just call our name!! Actually looks great on the porch! Thanks again for hosting and posting my link for me!! Your the greatest!
Debbie this is terrific! It actually is totally you! I love how it reminds me of a door hinge in a Spanish mission, and the wrought iron is remniscent of a chandy/light fixture of that style too. Girl, you did good!
Very unique piece, but it does look great on your porch!
Sleepy Poet looks like a fun place to spend an afternoon. I always find I circle around and around these types of places to see what I missed the first time, lol.
As someone who went through a Goth stage in my crazy youth, I love the piece!
Jeanine
ooooh, I love that lantern/light/piece of awesomeness! Looks great on your porch. Great finds, can't wait to link up next week!
