GaRage salen' Sunday New party announcement

So the light bulb went a flickering again this morning.  Now this may be nothing new out there in blog land, but to tell you the truth I have not see this linky party.  I know there are ones similar, however I am going to put my own spin on it here at Debbiedoos.  Starting Sundays....I want all you Garage saleing, thrift store shopping, consignment junkie gals to show me what you got!~ Now that summer is here Garage sales will be a plenty. .  Now this linky party is not opposed to garbage pickers...I did not say nose pickers I said Garbage pickers.....that will work too!  Basically anything you have NOT purchased from a major retail store. Antiques do qualify as well for this linky, again they are NOT purchased from a retail store so I would say YEP they are in!  Now you can get creative and show me what you have done to them, or perhaps where you put it, or how you made it over.  That is it!~ Have fun and let's partay! You will see a variety of examples here on this little button.  Please place this button on your blog or post linked back to me.  I do not have a html code, have no clue how to do that YET! So how about we start this Sunday? This gives me some time to figure out Mr. Linky! Have a great weekend.  I will put my Mr. Linky up Saturday night, wish me luck!  And don't forget to go check out my awesome giveaway.....HERE

Oh that sounds like fun!!! I've been going on Craigslist looking for garage and estate sales down by the beach so this party is definitely something I want to join in on!

Are you going to use the McLinky that allows the thumbnail photo's? I love those! I'll put your button on my blog:)

I tried to put the link party button up but it said there was an "internal error" so I'll just put your normal button up for now til I figure the other one out.

No, I haven't seen any linky parties strictly dedicated to yard or garage sale-ing! I've seen people blog about them so having a party to link up to will be fun:)

I'm glad you like all my Mod Podge creations, I'm still at it so there'll be more to come:)

Hugs to you!

Oh Boy! Now the pressures on! I was just saying to the Mr. today that there are some garage sales going on in a few neighborhoods nearby that we ought to check out. Looks like I gotta get up early tomorrow! Sounds fun!

That does sound like fun. Last Friday, I was running into town for a few things, and guess what? I saw a garage sale sign and thought I should check it out. I found a few goodies. Now, I have to figure out what I'm going to do with it. I will be joining if you get it going.

Hmmm, I wish there were garage sales here but I don't ever see any. I'll just have to go antiquing so I can join the fun. Does Ebaying count? You should go on a cruise, Debbie. You will have so much fun. The boys will love the camp....Christine

Hi Debbie,
I like your party idea, and my daughter and I were going to hit the flea market tom. morning, does that count. Yes, I think it does!
Not retail, right?!
Your baby boy is so handsome and can I ever relate to how quickly the years fly. The days, however, and esp. the nights, well - sometimes it seemed like they'd never end! My 14 yr. old woke me 3-4 times a night FOR FIVE YEARS. No wonder I have permanent bags under my eyes. Now, of course, I can't get her out of bed on weekend mornings! Still, it's all worth it, right?
Who wouldn't love a red coach bag? Does this comment count for the giveaway? If so, please count me in, and I'm a follower! Thanks for visiting,
Have a great weekend.

We don’t really have a lot of garage sale in the UK, but we do have car and boot sales, normally held in an open field.
Love the sound of this link, I have quite a few items that I have bought from auctions that I have renovated, but not taken pics of, so only have the end product, but would love to participate

Hi Debbie,
I read through the comment to see if anyone has supplied you with an answer to the HTML code yet. None, so here is my easiest way to it..

Upload your garage picture to Photobucket (if you have an account there, it is also free to sign up), and they will provide you with the HTML codes, and you can just grab it for your blog..

Have a good weekend!

Hi Debbie, What a fun party idea! I would have loved to join in but that particular watering can you asked about was purchased at JoAnne Fabric a few years ago, it was a thrifty find at 1/2 price, but...I did buy it retail. I will definitely link up next week as I have some new things that I picked up at GW recently. Your chair came out fabulous; it looks like it was professional refinished, great job, girl!! Thanks for visiting and leaving your kind comment. Best wishes on your new party, it will be a hit for sure, I love your idea!
