Vivacious Red
Ok so you have all figured out by now, I LOVE COLOR!~ If someone asked me to describe myself with one word....I would say it is Vivacious Yes it's true, I really am!!~......(DEF) full of high spirits and animation; lively or vital. I am enjoying this Virtual world, as I am getting to share of all my creative energy, that I have an abundance of. Red is a very VIBRANT color, and believe it or not, I do not use it enough. I never wear the color red, as I would feel like a VIXEN, much to strong for me, and not a good color choice for me! Here is a recent table scape I have done. Nothing fancy, just plain ole fun!
My can candle holders...I of course spray painted them...added the twine and the little decorative butterflies. Aren't they so cute? I can use these out on my back deck too in the Summer time.
I had bought some red burlap and attempted a table runner. I did not like it, so I decided to make little chair covers instead...I like the added fabric with the punch of color.
And there you have more color inspiration by MWAHHHH!~ I know it's not for everyone, and some are even afraid of the use of....but I do hope this inspires you to think outside the box and try it sometime, just might make you smile.
I will be linking this post to a few of my favorite parties later on this week. Participating in Jenny Matlock's alphabet Thursday always inspires me to think a little more so out of the box. In fact I had no intention of using this post at all for participating...that was until the light bulb started to flicker, and all of a sudden I came up with all these V words. So thanks Miss Jenny, I really am becoming more of a VILIGANT student

Absolutely beautiful. BEA-U-TI-FUL.
I love the chair covers and the fork and spoon. Gorgeous looking.
Very colorful. Bright. Pretty.
Loved it!
Just from knowing you through you blog, I could have picked the word vivacious to describe you!!!
Now, I just looked again at your avatar, and girl - - - you SHOULD wear red. It would look GREAT on you.
OMG, love the silverware! I just bought my seashells at the dollar store and now I have to go back for flatware...
Everything is beautiful! :)
You have an amazing talent for decorating!
There you go with that spray paint again. I so would love to come and sit at your table of color. But, I'm claiming the flower pillow. It's yummie and all mine. Great scape. Love the way your mind works. The more vibrant the better as far as I'm concern. Don't those people who are afraid of color scare you, I worry about them and what they are missing.
Spray On,
Kate
I love it. Your amazing at decorating. I love red, it's the color we chose in our dining room. The cans are cute!
Love all the colors and yes I would say you are vivacious!! Great choice for V this week! Cute little can candles!
Deb, I love all that color of course. Great table set up and what cute chair cozies. I am thinking about making some when I get the chance. Love the cans with the twine and butterflies.
Well, I LOVE the use of color in your house & surroundings! I'm a lover of red too ~ wear it and use it in my house...and never tire of it. :-)

One look around your beautiful home Deb and I can tell that you are vivacious. It's what we all love about you!

Kim
all those colors made me hungry whats for dinner love it:)
I love the cans, the little butterflies are so cute! I'm trying to integrate more color into my itty bitty dining space. I have a lot of knick knacks from Cost Plus world market in there.
You most definitely do across as vivacious:)
I absolutely love the can candle holders. I so detest those little glass holders for night lights, they are so boring and the open plates always get so messy but these look fabulous. So much so I might actually have to try and make some for myself! Now that would be a minor miracle of the creative kind :-)
Love the can idea! All your pictures are just beautiful. Those plates and chargers are to die for!
Great pics Debbie.
Lisa
Cute candle holders, did you make the butterflies? Your chargers and place settings are really pretty. I think I love you house!
I love your colorful table, Debbie. You are truly so creative, the can candle holders are so pretty..Christine
Debbie you are already a vixen without red ha! Your house looks like so much fun. Did your son or more important you, survive summer camp?
Carol

I like it and it DOES make me smile!
This might be my FAVORITE out of all you've done so far!!! Also really love the blue candle holder with the butterfly!!!!!! To cute! ;)
O vermelho é muito lindo, mas acho melhor em detalhes para não cansar!!
Porém, suas escolhas foram ótimas!! Ficou lindo!
Well you know I love red!! What a cute idea too! You are so great at taking everyday things and making them special...love that:-)
Very cute candle holders! They definitely will look great on your deck, too!!!

I sure do love your colors! The cans are really cute!
love the candle can votive...so vibrant indeed. i also adore your chairs and the entire setting you did is brilliant! Mica/The Child's Paper
Dear Mrs. Vivacious- Your personality screams RED, so you don't have to wear it if you dont want to! :D heeheee
I've always felt like a vixen too if I put on red! And then living in a gang affiliated neighborhood in Brooklyn told me to 'de-red' my wardrobe. But now that I'm in England and feeling like a new person, I wear red at leaste once a week, even if it's to paint my fingernails red. Give it a try! I dare ya!
And the larger scale picture of the candle cans on your table really shows how great they look, and the chair covers, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent!
Personally I love color as well. I do find it hard sometimes bringing it all together though in my decor. I get nervous that it looks too "much". I guess ultimately if it pleases my family and I, that's all that matters.
Super cute candle cans. I really like that the materials are recycled. Cute butterflies. I'm not sure if I read you made those too. Anyhoo... love pictures you shared.
Great idea with the cans - and with the burlap! Yes, color is a wonderful thing! I love your chargers, too!
I'm shocked that I'm not a follower of your blog..Well I am now. I just LOVE this post. Great idea with the cans...definitely one that I will be using and also having my daycare children make as gifts for their home...Your diningroom is so cheery and bright. Made my heart sing.
LOVE this!! I love all the different colors together. SO great.
I love red, too! :) Great ideas...thanks for sharing. I esp love the chair covers. Stopping by from the PPP. :)

I must be channeling your veggie can inspiration.....hubby keeps asking why all the cans in the basement?.....I have an idea I tell him.....lol now I see it! Thanks to you. your Table is lovely, but those chair covers are great!
You already know I love your style! I can only hope when my kids are old enough to go to school that I will make the most of my time like you do!!! I love it!
Thank you for linking this colorful project. How creative to use your tin cans in this way. Adding the twine is perfect. The entire kitchen is so inviting with all your primary colors. Just beautiful!
I made one of those cans for 4th of July-- for all the silverware. Now that I see yours... I might have to make a couple more.
Red is my favorite color... it is all over my house.
Oh my, everybody is doing summer projects, love, love the can idea, perfect to keep my kids busy during summer vacations. Love the red rooster lamp.

Everything is so cheerful and welcoming!

I like to use a lot of color also. And red is one of my favorites, I even have a red couch. Great Post.
That is a colorful table...I love the blues and greens...especially the turquoise dish with the green apples, now that is vibrant!

Colorful and vivacious indeed!!! Your house is so fun!
what a great idea those candle holders are!!! and i agree ... Red is vivacious
Great colors! I am so afraid of using color my house leans towards neutrals -boring I know. I just have no design sense, and really envy those that do.
Love your candles...aren't you clever. You table looks so festive. I love the bright colors for summer. I adore red...I hardly ever wear it, but I had a red car once and loved it and my license plate was feverish!
Love those candleholders, they are too cute! I love red also, it was my accent color of choice when we renovated our kitchen. Right down to the red toaster :) Kathy
Nicely done, Debbie. Came by from Jenny's to check out your V and found myself getting so much more!
Wow, are you linking to seven memes?
Well, 'Vivacious' is a good V-word. Lovely images too.

Vivacious you are, my dear, and you're a great photographer as well. I don't read posts before I write mine, so you will find that I used V as vivaciousness!

I TOTALLY love the spray painted cans.
We are updating the deck furniture, and those would be great on our baker's rack. I'm going to rummage around in the recycle bin now :)
