Sentimental ornaments!

That's right, I made something once again in the craft family, don't be jealous, you can too! I saw out here in blog land a party that I wanted to join in.  Seeing I am getting confident enough, I thought I would.
Fireflies and Jellybeans is hosting. Beth from the stories of A to Z is the guest judge.  While Beth has it all over me, I will say I have learned a thing or two from her. So thanks Beth for inspiring, Keep on keeping there girl!   The featured item is clothes pins.
Of course it was easy, why else would I do it?  This one I came up with on my own, no copying from anyone or anywhere...however, I am sure this is not the first time done.

Had some recent fabulous family photos, that I thought I would make into some ornaments for the tree. Here is the short self explanatory tutorial, and the end result.  I just love seeing my family on the tree. I still have some more to make.
I bought some holiday cards from the Dollar tree (2 for a dollar) then I scanned my photos on my scanner at home

Modge podge, I have not used this in a while

Cut the card with my craft scissors, and modged podged the picture on the card.

Cut some nice words from the card itself and embellished my ornament

And there you have it on the tree. I love it! And look, there is a CLOTHES pin to attach it to the tree! I kept mine original, I could have made in glitter but there is enough bling going on.

This one I made look a bit old and worn

And I just love this pic of my Mom and I. What a fun, cheap and easy project. I will have for a life time!
Thanks for all the hosts that I will be joining this week. I do have to go finish my Christmas cards and shopping.

Nice to see the Podge in play. What a fun idea. I had missed the Podge while you were away on "mental break". I knew the Podge would get the best of you.

Podge on,
Hey...what about Podging the whole tree... now there's a Podging idea...

I think I need to wake up more from my wee-little nap before commenting anymore.
