It must be love, love love...
I like that song...
So remember I told you I was looking for more things to stencil? I found just one more thing to do the fleur de lis on.
I found this pretty red tray marked down on clearance for $2.00 at Walmart. It was a Christmas item, however I thought I love the tray and could use it all year round or just seasonal, whatevs for 2 bucks I will figure it out.
I just adore this cute lil cupcake from PIER I
Here is my cheapo score...I mean seriously why don't they just give it away?
That is what the tray was saying, BE MINE take me, make me happy....
I just love all the pretties for Valentines day. I do not have a lot of stuff, just one lil rubbermaid. I am just showing some snippets of Valentines day for now.
And there is it all prettied up with just a little gold to it.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

Your tray looks awesome! I love it! I have zero Valentines Day decor but I might hit Big Lots next week.
Oh, that song is the one by Madness I think right? I had the little 45 of it back in the 80's!

Wow!!! You have got the stenciling thing down to a fine art! That tray looks awesome!
I love how the tray turned out!! Don't you love getting a deal? I don't do any decorating for Valentine's but all your stuff looks great.
Great stenciling, Debbie. You find nice things at your Walmart. I usually am not that lucky. Thanks for joining my party.

Fantabulous, Debbie!

You made it so much more beautiful by adding the touch of gold! From plain to perfect! Love all of your pretty things for Valentine's day! I'll have to stop at Pier 1 soon! Hugs! ♥
It turned out great, Debbie.
I've been thinking about my post for the 24th.
Yep! I'm gettin' myself to Wal-Mart this week to see if I can find one of those trays. What a great way to spruce it up Debbie and I love that you added the Valentine's decor to it. Great job!
Vanessa
Cute- and I love the stenciling on the red tray...perfect job and it really "finished" it. Love that you are already on the ball for VD (uh...that would be Valentine's Day)...hugs- Diana
Now, if Walmart could buy it back from you this way, they could charge 3X more!! Beautiful!
XO,
Jane
Tray is pretty and at a great price.
I have a couple of things for Valentine's day, but don't think I will even get them out this year.
I don't know why more people don't think of Valentine's Day when they look at the Christmas castoffs. Very cute tray. I went to HL today and forgot to check out the stencils. What was I thinking!
the tray looks so pretty it looks like you hand painted the design. And the good thing is you can use it all year round:)
That looks beautiful. You do have a Lot of patience and plenty of talent.
Aww Debbie! Loving all your LOVE decor! That tray is awesome. I'm a tray fanatic lately. They are so versatile for decorating. I haven't put out my rubbermaid of VDay decs yet. Need to get on that!!
Love the Valentine's Day decor ideas...I always stuggle with how to decorate for this holiday. So clever- how you used a Christmas bargain for Valentine's!
Debbie doo done good! I love it, it now looks like a really expensive Ballard piece.
Carol
You are amazing...amazing for your creativity and your great ideas for blogging too! What a neat idea for a Newbie party and Pet party (your little pup is adorable with the...well,it looks like a rose between the teeth! haha) and the sign giveaway! (Yay! it looks like I'm not too late).
*sigh* work really limits my blog visiting time! I love to come and see what you are up too, dear friend!
Blessings & Aloha!
Can't wait til my next day off during the week, so I can do some more catching up on blog reading!
Love the change to the tray! It was cute before but now it's fantastic. I'm getting ready for some Valentine decor soon.
Oh, I've missed so much not coming over for visits lately. Why does time seem to get away from me these days? I really need to re-think my priorities! I love your new tray all done up with the stencil. It looks so sweet with all your "Love Day" items. I own absolutely nothing in a Valentine's theme. And I'm swearing off buying for a while. Heck- I just purged so much! LOL
Thanks for always popping in to say hi. You're so good about visiting! hugs, Sue
LOVE it! My color...the fleur de lis...all is go -jus as Kara says!
:-) She's a doll!
Anyway, I can send you my address if you'd like to put that in the mail, ok? LOL
Hope you're having a wonderful day!
xo

Very nice Debbie! What a score from Walmart! You made it look great!
Awesome score! I love what you did to the tray, and agree, it can be used lots and lots! I love how you always decorate for the different holidays, so pretty and welcoming!
GREAT new look, Debbie! I double checked to make sure I was in the right place!
Your tray is super cute!!!! I love your cupcake too!!!!
Yes!!! I'm ready for Charleston!!!
I love your tray find!! So glad you 'saved' it from just being stored away with Christmas decorations. Poor little tray... :-) I too grab up 'red' bargains after Christmas and use them for Valentines! I always think it's funny that Kmart and Walmart sell out their 'red' kitchen stuff only to put more 'red' valentine stuff out a week later. Silly people... but lucky us shoppers!! :-)
I love that tray! I just looked at my Wal-Mart's clearance section and didn't see anything cool like that. :( I love what you did to it! You are so creative!!
Ooh very creative! I love the new look.
Your fleur-de-lis tray turned out beautifully, Debbie!
Nive tray makeover, you are way ahead of me, I haven't even thought about Valentines yet. Like your new header too.
You did a beautiful job on that tray! $2.00 too. What a buy!
I think I need that cupcake from Pier 1. You're such a troublemaker! LOL :)
what a cute tray ... love that stenciling! and $2? can't beat it! all your Valentine's Day things are TOO cute! does this mean I need to get mine out? ;)

The tray looks terrific. Enjoyed the "modeling" photos in the post above. You look like you are having fun.
Debbie, I love your blog, you are so real! I love that quality about you. My daughter Hope Faith is now 9 months plus old and she and I love to check out your blog!! Happy New Year to you,I am blown away at how good you are at this stuff and how much you can do in such a short time, you are truly talented, you should contact Oprah about the world of blogging and how we have as women created such a world for our selves as a result of this connection!! If you ever want to talk about having babies after 40, that would be my area, or anything about what a beautiful window treatment does for a room, then let me know..
I normally don't do much decorating for valentine's day so it is fun to see what others have been up to! Thanks for sharing.
I don't do much for Valentine's either. But that tray is darling! For Christmas, too . . . heck, every day @ my house.
Would love for you to drop by and link up to Passion for Paint this weekend.
