It's been a mistake!

It was so exciting yesterday to receive this gorgeous arrangement of flowers.
The door bell rang and Mike was home, so he answered it.
There sits a box that we assumed was from his Mom, because she said to be expecting something.
Well much to our surprise...it was not...
But whom exactly was it from?
Well this is where the FUNNY party comes in...
my husband reads the card, his facial expression was weird, so I grabbed the card....
Let me just ask, or say...WHAT in the World is wrong with this DUDE? My thoughts are this...he did something seriously WRONG!!!!~
I knew at hey BABE...this was NOT my husband.,,
I immediately called the company, and asked them who sent us these flowers? and what's up with  the confusion with the card.
I told the Man I was talking to, that I was a little upset with my husband now, that he in fact did NOT send me these flowers, and HE does not in fact tell me these wonderful things...I told him his company has caused some major marital problems in our home today.

The man on the other end was laughing so hard, he had to put me on hold...
Turns out the flowers were from my sweet cousin. XO ( The company sent the wrong card)
We did however, receive another package later on that day from my MIL...mmm...chocolate covered strawberries.
Have a wonderful day my friends!!~ XO

Well, the sad (other) part of that story is that someone who has passed on has a permanent account set up to send his beloved flowers every Valentine's Day until she passes away. There are people that do this...believe me...I always wondered what would happen if the wife remarried...hmmmm....

Your flowers are beautiful...and imagine the wife that got the other card thinking...who in the heck is cousin Stuart and why is he sending me flowers? Yeah...imagine that!

It sounds to me like the man who sen the flowers has maybe passed away. I bet he set up an account to have flowers sent to his wife for Valentine's Day. If that is the case, that is really sweet! I hope they fixed their mistake and got the right card to his wife.

I just found your blog, and was cruising through old posts when I came across this one and had to tell you my experience with this same company. When my father died we received a lovely bouquet of roses with a balloon that said CONGRATS. Being that my father hadn't been dead 24 hours, I knew something was wrong. The card was congratulating someone on the birth of their son. It turns out my mom's cousin sent condolence flowers, but the order was mixed up. Someone with a new baby got a "Sorry for your loss" card and we got "congrats." I didn't know wether or not to laugh or cry.
