Anticipation

It's keeping you waitttttinnnggggg....
Yes, It is and I am sorry...
But so far coming up with nothing over the bed. To be honest, we have not started the hunt. Too much going on these days to be out shopping.
I never did show you the other dresser and thought this will be the very last thing I show you until the full reveal.
I promise:)
I had this pretty bee picture for about 10 years now, purchased through Ballards catalog..I think it will go along nicely with my romantic theme.

This candle sconce I purchased a couple of years ago at Marshalls. I have two of them and they used to hang on my wall in our guest bedroom...I think they found a new home for now..

I heavily distressed this piece....This is the Chalk paint I have been using and love...After the paint dried I used the clear wax, distressed and then buffed the piece. That is where the real work comes in..but it is so fun and immediate gratification.

My husband was a little apprehensive that we could transform modern furniture to looks shabby french....
This is the second coat with just the chalk paint.

Pretty shabby French if you ask me!

I will take nicer pictures for the full reveal.

Just a collage to show you how it is all coming together in the romance department....There is something to be said for a bedroom makeover...that's all I am saying!!~
Have a wonderful evening!
XO

It's pretty amazing what paint can do to a piece of furniture. It really looks great. Is this the Cream color? It doesn't look as yellow as the piece I was painting. Maybe it was the basement lighting. Can't wait to see when it's all done!

It is looking Beautiful! I started my master bedroom makeover back in February (I think) and it is pretty much done except to paint and add wall decor. Hopefully I can work on that in a week or two. My wall behind my bed is kind of like yours. It is really big and we have vaulted ceilings. I bought the monogramed flags from bed bath and beyond. A big flag with the letter B for our last name and the initial of mine and my husbands first names of the smaller garden flags. In my mind I think it will be cute, hopefully when I get them put up on the wall I will feel the same! :)
