Thought provoking questions coffee talk series

Good day Ladies!
Keeping it light today.
I mentioned my boys are on Spring break. I am helping a friend move, today, and I am quite busy myself these days.
So how about a little thoughts for the day shall we?
What is your favorite smell?
https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRufrZhaQq5QUILLLaj_FC3A4nupgcomoSClqoUTaGmlIEOJO2Q7pxyMPX-Vki7P8isIE2Lwg3H5b-I1S_dAN2qrPXgDvqL1hA3VxIv_B9pUbu5vQjW8UrkWtJYY8U-LPv-3pN4Lq3pIE/s1600/pumpkinenzyme+copy.jpg
Smelling is a very strong sense for me. I smell something when it's good, and I can smell something when it's bad, and trust me living with two boys, a husband and a little pug dog..I get some bad smells on occasion around here.
My favorite smell would be anything and everything Fall related, the leaves, banana breads, Cinnamon, pumpkin, you get the gist!
What specific character trait do you want to be known for?
Oh boy, this got me thinking for sure..... The first thing that came to mind would be, for people to say simply .....
that I am, kind, sincere, and thoughtful to others....(oops that was three things) I guess I want to be known for lots more!

I really love learning a little more about my friends each week here.  Some things have really surprised me in such a great way, your past lives, dreams, and thoughts have really touched me. Thank you for sharing...

Don't forget Newbie party still going on
and of course your invitation..

Sigh. I lost my sense of smell a few years ago. It was pretty depressing because there are so many wonderful smells in the world. One of the smells I find myself missing is bubble gum. It makes me think of childhood and fun.
Good question.

vanilla candles...not any derivitive of vanilla, but plain old vanilla. I stash them everywhere because I can't resist buying them.

What a great question!

1. The sense of scent is so appealing. I love warm and earthy smells... I suppose these could be considered fall scents as well: apples and cinnamon, fresh pine, patchouli, burning leaves.

2. I suppose I would like to be known as being kindhearted, considerate, and artistic and a little offbeat too. :)

Have fun on spring break!

My favorite smells are lavender, cinnamon rolls, pumpkin pie, COFFEE (any kind, but especially cappuccino with CINNAMON), Guerlain's Shalimar perfume, coconut oil on the beach, and hot chocolate in the mountains!!!

My husband smells pretty great, too (Saks Fifth Avenue's Sandlewood)...

Oh, and I also like Philosophy's Eternal Grace perfume and just about everything from Lollia including Imagine and Inspire.

My favorite smell is probably lavender/vanilla. Febreeze makes a good spray and Bath&Bodyworks makes a great lotion called Sleep, and I absolutely love those. (citrus and money are close seconds though!)

Boy, if I have to pick one thing to be known for, it would be being loving. That would encompass:kindness, sincerity, honesty, understanding and caring.

That's on a good day, otherwise, it might be the total opposite end of the spectrum, lol!

Right now I'm loving spring smells, floral, lavendar, etc. Kind of changes with the seasons so I burn candles which are season appropriate. But my favorite smell is a baby's fresh washed hair.

I'd like to be remembered as a person who was genuine. I think that covers a lot of territory.

You are a sweet friend to help someone move!

My favorites change throughout the year. Right now, I'm more into the light fruity smells -- peachy scents, strawberries, citrus. Late summer, early fall, my longing for cooler temps will have me pulling out fall candles or scentsies -- pumpkin, banana bread, sugar cookie. My "anytime" and "all-time" favorite is the smell of a baby (not one with a dirty nappy!), fresh from a bath. Too bad no one has bottled that smell yet!

As for my character, I truly hope people describe me as nice, kind, respectful & considerate of everyone around me. I truly, truly hope I'm close to being this kind of person.

As for you, sweet friend, I think you are one of the nicest & most kind people I've ever met. Truly!

My fav scents are "clean smells" I love the smell of fresh, crisp laundered sheets and linens, a freshly cleaned home, rain scents, ahhh - having posted about smells recently myself I am always on the look out for wonderfully smelling products. Btw Debbie I do want to try scentsy. I'm just waiting to have a little extra $$ :). Have a lovely day.

I like the smell of 'clean'- the way your house smells when all the floors have been washed, bathrooms and sinks sanitized and the windows left open.

I'm nostalgic these days, so I LOVE the smell of trick-or-treat bags (the way the chocolate, candy and apples- when it used to be ok to give them out- smell when mixed together) and the way my kids smell when they come inside after playing outside for an hour or so. Fresh!

Love this series, Debbie... it makes me think!

I go from coconut in the warmer months to pumpkin spice in the cooler months for sure but everyone that walks in my house says it smells like i'm baking something but that could be because they want me to bake something :) i guess what i'd like to be thought of most is maybe i'm somewhere you can go to be comforted whether it be to curl up on the couch and watch a movie with me when you're feeling down or crying on my shoulder (i'll never interrupt) or if you're down on your luck and need a bite...i don't think i've ever turned someone down...you may only get biscuits and gravy but you'll get something ;)

Debbie, I love the smell of almond and jasmine. Not the flavoring or perfume but the pink almond shrub in my back garden. The confederate jasmine at both ends of the house is in bud and will soon be wafting that heavenly aroma around the porches. I will be just swinging and sniffing. Aroma that is!!
I would love to be remembered as being loyal and dependable. A Granny of my word. Love ya girl, Ginger

My fav smell is when my Mock Orange blooms in the summer. Takes me back to my childhood home and reminds me of my mom. I also love the smell of Sentsy's Simply Irresistible.

And one word to describe me right now...compassionate.

Lily of the Valley is my favorite followed closely by lilac. Oh and then there is vanilla ~ whoops that's three. See Debbie, I can't choose just one either. I hope that others think of me as being compassionate.

And ~ Bentley is very excited about the invitation to Lucy's party and will be so pleased to attend. Thank you!!

Hi Debbie,
I am a huge scent person, too! My very favorite scent (well, one of them!) is coconut. It always reminds me of tropical vacations:) I also adore lavender, rosemary, and citrus.
I guess that I would like to be most known for being kind, down to earth, and thoughtful! Oh, was I supposed to name just one???:)!

This might seem weird but I loved the smell of our garage when I was growing up! Every once in awhile I will walk into a shed or garage that brings me right back...I guess it just conjours up memories of my dad! Second to that I love the fall smells and the crisp air. I too have a strong sense of smell and carry a little air freshner in my purse for those stinky moments when your out and about...LOL

I would like to be known for my compassion!

It's always interesting to me to learn about scents other people like. See, I don't have a sense of smell and to my knowledge I never have. Sense of smell and taste are related to each other, so I'm lucky I can taste food.

Probably the thing I'm most interested in smelling is oddly enough a skunk just because they are what everyone tells me about the most. Just curious if they really smell as terrible as everyone says they do.

And with that, I'm sure I just confirmed I am weird!

I actually have a perfume allergy. So I have to be very careful with smells.

I tend to stick to spice smells, like cinammon. Luckily for me, fall is my favorite, so cinammon works. :)

As far as a trait...I want to be known as kind. I figure kind wraps alot of the other traits I want to be known for in it...like giving, caring, loving, good listener, good friend, etc. :)
