Happy Friday Everyone!
Hand painted napkins are so pretty, and so easy to make your self.
I have a stack of white linen napkins, that were given to me. I thought at the time not sure what I will do with them, but sure I will take them.
I have been busy cleaning and getting ready for a crazy week ahead. It is both Alex and
and Mike's Birthday's. Alex is having the 70's party, and I plan on making Mike a nice dinner.
It is so nice when something pops in your head, and you have everything you need on hand.

These were very quick and easy to do, and I will show you soon.
Basically, stencil, paint of your color choice, plain white napkins, and a small stencil roller. |
|
Can you see what I plan on doing soon? Can't wait to share with you these gorgeous new dishes. |
BTW, I went back and got just one MORE
featherhead.... A Blazin hot RED one!
Did you know these things are in HOT demand right now? Fisherman apparently are very angry with the hair industry.
OH well, you can take me fishin and dunk my head a few times.
JULY 30th will be the final day to get in on the MOUTAIN of GIVEAWAYS!
10 CANS of Annie Sloan chalk paint and more!
Go check it out.

we are so slow to catch the trrends up north in canada,, guess it takes time ,, the red looks great,, you're so brave,,I have a stack of linen napkins and it never dawned on me to paint them,,now I can see how it would be just the ticket!!
I use cloth napkins every day. this is a neat idea to dress them up. I think I have that same dish that is peeking out between the napkins.
OK, here I go again. Probably asking a really dumb question!
Why are fishermen going to be mad??
Fisherman are mad because they use feathers for fly fishing, I believe that to be the case.
These are so pretty and such a great idea. I love how you change the simple into wonderful with such ease.
Your napkins are just fantastic. They are so pretty, I love the colors and the pattern. I havn't stenciled anything in years, I really need to try it again.
Thanks also for the comment on my DR table vignette. Yes, I did make the runner. It was some leftover fabric I had from making the living room pillows. I am on a total yellow/gold - beige - orange - green kick, so everything is starting to match all over the house. Maybe that's a good think since the house is so small. Hugs, Marty
Love those napkins Debbie and can't wait to see how you did them! :-)
Way to go featherhead!
Vanessa
Looking forward to see how you did the napkins. I have a stack of 8 or 10 really soft yellow ones that I got at the thrift store for a buck & would like to do something like that.
Hmmm......featherheads? No, I haven't seen those yet, but I'm paying homage to my hairdresser next week (the day before I move), & he is usually sporting the latest trends. It looks really cute on you!
:) CAS
well if those are not the cutest ever now where or where did you get all white napkins hummmmmm
Can't wait to see the whole napkin gig. My hubby is having a birthday in two weeks. He is getting a new phone that he can actually send text messages on. Then I just have to teach him to text..to me..about how much he loves me. Let's just hope he doesn't send that text to his dad instead...
Debbie, the napkins are great. Now, why didn't I think of that; so clever and so pretty too. Love your feathers--sure makes me wish I was younger as I'd love them in my hair. Yours look fab! Enjoyed all your NY pics too. Peggy
Girl you are sooooo talented, love those napkins!! You look great with the featherheads Debbie, they are so popular here too!! Have a great weekend, Martina
Debbie,
Went to pick up some hair products Tuesday and everyone is having the feathers put in. Glad to see you are stylin:)
Great napkins did you use the fabric paint with a medium to keep it pliable?
You seriously painted those napkins??? I am so jealous of your creativity! I'm also jealous of your featherheads, but that's a whole other issue! lol
You are certainly hip, Miz Deb! ;-)
And talented too. Those napkins look great. ~ Sarah

I've seen the feather in the hair, my SIL had one but she had it on the side of her head with a larger type feather, at first I thought she had something in her hair that she didn't know about. LOL I have a hair appt. in a couple of weeks so I'll have to ask her about them.
Love those napkins and how you are going to stencil them...happy birthday to the men in your life!
