I recently did our bar stools over,
and thought I would continue with another small project. I would like to tell you it was fast and easy, however I would be lying.
This project popped into my head when I woke up this morning.
I love doing lampshades as you can see from some past posts, HERE, HERE
, and HERE..
Thought I would break out the mod podge..and get started.
First I cut my rice bags to size the lamp shade.
I knew this would NOT be a perfect project, because if you know me, they never are perfect..bad on perfect, no perfectionist here.
Jack saw this project drying (dripping in the sink) He said Oh Mom that is pretty cool!
Project is still wet, could not wait to take pictures....another bad trait, NOT patient at all.
I used some upholstery tacks just for a touch of embellishment.
At the end of the day, and yes I say end of the day, because I think this project took me all day, I am pretty happy with it. I will see what Mike thinks when He gets home from work.
Speaking of work, I am still a scentsy rep
and would love for you to check out my site.
With such beautiful scents and burners to choose from, it certainly is a great accessory to any home.
Some of my blogging friends are coming up for some new scents...
my Newbie party is still going on
And the MOUNTAIN of GIVEAWAYS is still going on as well!
