Fall decorating, Fun, Funky guest room! Newbie party started
First room in the house to have the Fall decorating makeover.
Only item new is the owl pillow, how cute is this? Found that at Kirklands last week for $5.99.
The coverlet was a find at World Market a few years back. The colors make my heart sing!
Let me first show you the Spring Summer guest room...
Note the summery DIY art work...that too had a little makeover.
Painted the matte border inside with my ASCP Arles color,
then I lightly waxed the outer frame with dark wax.
I also removed the glass to avoid the glare...DUH! What took me so long to figure that out?

Love the owl. It was 86 degrees here today...fall was written all over it. Or maybe it was tropical storm. Either way, it was not a bad day.

I love what you did with the frames and removing the glass was a great idea! Mr. Owl is adorable! Love the color of the headboard. I have a headboard still waiting to be painted and I was thinking of an aquamarine kind of color. Should get it done before it's too cold to paint outdoors here!

Cute and original decorations for fall. Love owls too! I still haven't decorated the walls in my new place yet. Several distractions... guess all the life changes are complete just yet. :D
