DIY drop cloth pillow {Lucy hates it}

This is an easy DIY drop cloth pillow idea for you.
I decided this post may be a better GUTS post for Donna's challenge than my original thoughts.
Ya know for Halloween decorating, it is NOT all about my boys! I do have a little girl in the house that requires some attention too!
I bought this cute skull bling bling tattoo at Walmart for a few bucks.
Again, never knowing what I will come up with.
Today, it hit me.  I have some drop clothes, my no sew liquid stitch glue, craft paint, and off I went.

First I rolled some black craft paint all over my cut squares.

I did first iron the fabric and glue stitch the three sides leaving the top open for stuffing later on.

I then ironed on my skull tattoo as followed by the directions on the package.
As you can see I took some red craft paint and drizzled it on for the effect of blood.

I stenciled little Lucy's initial on it, to make it her OWN.

And there you have Lucy's little dog bed decked out for Halloween!

So Luce what do you think?

I think I am exhausted, and I can't sleep on that thing...

Oh well, looks cute anyhow, go on the couch or on my bed!
Hope you enjoyed the DIY drop cloth spooked out pillow.

Have a great day!

NEWBIE party going on

Look at you! So perfect for your skull theme and I'm loving the red accents for blood...hehe...the puffy paint type stuff reminds me of my birthday sleepovers when I was younger and at one we all decorated pillowcases with it...good times!

I first of all just have to say that your little dog, Lucy is sooooo cute! I have a special fondness for smushed in face doggies. I'm sure little Lucy didn't care too much for her dog bed especially after you put all that scratchy paint on it! Ha! You did a good job though with your creativity. You came up with something on your own and that's the best part. Does Lucy dress up for Halloween?

Hi Debbie, How sweet that "Lucy" is included in decorating for Halloween, I would have never thought of that. I do put a witch hat on Lexi and take pictures and also do other holiday pictures but never thought about decorating a bed for her. Thanks for sharing, you are so talented and are always fashion forward in your decorating, love it!
