This is an easy DIY drop cloth pillow idea for you.
I decided this post may be a better GUTS post for Donna's challenge than my original thoughts.
Ya know for Halloween decorating, it is NOT all about my boys! I do have a little girl in the house that requires some attention too!
I bought this cute skull bling bling tattoo at Walmart for a few bucks.
Again, never knowing what I will come up with.
Today, it hit me. I have some drop clothes, my no sew liquid stitch glue, craft paint, and off I went.
First I rolled some black craft paint all over my cut squares.
I did first iron the fabric and glue stitch the three sides leaving the top open for stuffing later on.
I then ironed on my skull tattoo as followed by the directions on the package.
As you can see I took some red craft paint and drizzled it on for the effect of blood.
I stenciled little Lucy's initial on it, to make it her OWN.
And there you have Lucy's little dog bed decked out for Halloween!
So Luce what do you think?
I think I am exhausted, and I can't sleep on that thing...
Oh well, looks cute anyhow, go on the couch or on my bed!
Hope you enjoyed the DIY drop cloth spooked out pillow.
Have a great day!

Look at you! So perfect for your skull theme and I'm loving the red accents for blood...hehe...the puffy paint type stuff reminds me of my birthday sleepovers when I was younger and at one we all decorated pillowcases with it...good times!
Liesl :)
Haha, love it! Lucy is so cute!
That's too cute. It makes for an awesome Halloween pillow...even if Lucy doesn't think so.
Girl you are creative, that is soooo cute but not as cute as Lucy:) If Lucy don't like it I bet your boys do! Martina
Poor Lucy wants a pretty frilly bed, mom. That is too funny.
That is too cute Debbie and so is Lucy.
So cute Debbie! Lucy is a doll...she must be a girly girl...doesn't like blood....
Have a great week!

Oh how cute is that? I have to show that picture of Lucy to my daughter. She loves your Lucy.
Your boys must love it when Halloween rolls around and you start decorating for it! So cute!
Poor Lucy, she probably wants something less scary to rest her head on. Maybe a cute princess pillow? It is a cute pillow though!
mabey if you put a couple of squakers in it she would like it i know Beatrice would love to pull that little baby apart lol:)
You come up with some fantastic ideas Debbie! Lucy kinda stole the show in this post though! :-)
Vanessa
Very crafty. No, she doesn't look too happy. :)

Poor Lucy does look a bit unimpressed at all your hard work:) I think it's cute that you decorate for your fluffy child too! God bless x
Gee Debbie that is so cute! Your Lucy is too! I like the red paint for blood! I guess this was a bling and blood pillow! :-)
They look really creepy. I bet your sons love them for that reason.
Debbie, you are so creative!
I love all your ideas!
Lucy is just too cute!
So creative and cute, Debbie! I don't know how you think of all these ideas!
Love the skull pillow! What a creative idea. Maybe Lucy will grow to love it in time. She's such a cutie!

I just luv your skull pillow...ummm wonder if you can use after Halloween, so cute!
I first of all just have to say that your little dog, Lucy is sooooo cute! I have a special fondness for smushed in face doggies. I'm sure little Lucy didn't care too much for her dog bed especially after you put all that scratchy paint on it! Ha! You did a good job though with your creativity. You came up with something on your own and that's the best part. Does Lucy dress up for Halloween?
Great dogie pillow, I could tell by the photo how excited Lucky was!!
Very creative and Lucy is adorable!
Oh my goodness!!! Lucy is adorable!!! And so is the pillow :-)
Hi Debbie, How sweet that "Lucy" is included in decorating for Halloween, I would have never thought of that. I do put a witch hat on Lexi and take pictures and also do other holiday pictures but never thought about decorating a bed for her. Thanks for sharing, you are so talented and are always fashion forward in your decorating, love it!
Hugz,
Kim
Too cute - Lucy and the pillow!
Well, the ungreatful little pooch, I bet she will be on it as soon as you go to sleep!
Carol
That is so cute and you come up with the best ideas but when I scrolled down and saw your cute little funny pup I just started laughing. She is wonderful.
I'm with Lucy, creepy! :)
Lucy's face is classic! I love the pillow. You always amaze me how you look at something and buy it with no idea what you are going to do and then you create something amazing! You are awesome!
Oh my Lucy is so darn cute!
Poor thing! She does look exhausted. I first thought your iron on was something you had done with one of those stud machines. Remember those? I was thinking where did she find one of those. LOL! You did a very cute job on the Halloween pillow!
poor Lucy. She probably doesn't like the new paint smell. But oh so yucky and halloweeny! Just perfect I mean.
Perfect blingy, spooky Halloween pillow, Debbie! The splattered blood is the crowning touch! Love it ... sorry, Lucy!
Loved your drop cloth pillow for Lucy! You're so creative... Really! Thank you so much for sharing!
Great idea Debbie
Ahh.. poor lucy. She's gonna have nightmares.. HA!

Cute, cute! I'm sure she doesn't like it 'cause it's a bit rough to the touch. The girl needs velvet or fur, Mom! :-)
