Yes, I indeed know I get carried away when I get on a kick of something. Loving these wood pallet/wood projects.
Who can kick on FREE? Certainly not me, and we shall not judge thee!
Just a simple painted and stenciled piece of wood left over from our outdoor project.
Well that day I painted two of them, why not I was in the mode.
First I painted in the same color blueish green stain.
Then I decided Sunday, I wanted white.
After all winter will be here before we know it, and I need lighter and brighter.
I get that lack of Vitamin D deficiency thing.
{not really, I just love to see the sun, and light and bright days}
So simple, so rustic, and really makes a statement.
FREE!
Oh
Gina, as you can see I am still loving my William Sonoma rooster placemats.
XO,
thank you my friend!
Off topic here...I have not been on the computer too much the last few days, as I think I may be developing carpal tunnel. My husband is going to be getting me the wrist guard. I have a lot of the symptoms. I have no pain at this point, but it is a gnawing feeling. My husband feels it is definitely the start of it. I am not whining nor complaining believe me, but if you don't see me around as much, this is why. Perhaps this is a sign to slow down Doo's!

Debbie, this is a very cute idea! You could adapt it for Christmas or any holiday/special event too! Oh, my mind is spinning with fresh inspiration:) Thank you for sharing. Look after your poor wrists- try some exercises to keep ct at bay! God bless x
Oh, no. I hope it's not carpal tunnel and I hope the wrist thing helps.
What a cute idea! I love it. I don't own any stencils but perhaps I should...just so cute...AND different.. (now you will be seeing them ALL OVER Blogland!) :)
I have had the same thing happen to my right wrist and it frightened me. That tingling...I slowed down my computer time and it did get better. So far is has not come back. I hope your symptoms go away...
Hugs!!
Hi Debbie...
My friend, you always come up with the greatest ideas! I love your old, rustic board so sweetly stenciled! It looks sooo pretty on your table! I also enjoyed seeing a bit of your autumn/halloween decor in the dining area! Your home is always sooo warm and beautiful, sweet lady! Thank you for sharing it with us...and your creativity too!
Warmest autumn wishes,
Chari
PS...so sorry to hear that you might be having trouble with carpal tunnel. Sending big hugs and prayers your way, my friend!
What a clever take on table runners! Only better than your regular table runner, as it is an elevated spot for decorative items and/or goodies. Charming.
Be careful of both hands and wrists, now!

Yikes, hope you feel better. We have a feeling my husband has the starts of carpel tunnel no fun at all. He heads to the docs soon. I love this idea, so cute and like you said rustic!
Oh what a LOVELY idea and you pulled it off so Beautifully...So Sorry to hear about your CT symptoms.... You should consider Theraputic message and even acupuncture that did wonders for a friend who had the early symptoms as well... Praying all gets better for you
Your little signs are the cutest idea. I havn't found anything to paint, but you seem to have a ton and all of your ideas are so cute. Love it. I had corpal tunnel and the surgery. You really don't want to go there. Big nasty scar and out of commission for about 6 weeks. No fun. Hope all of well soon. Hugs, Marty
Debbie I love how you recycle the wood! So very pretty!! I understand about being on the computer too much. I have slowed down a lot too. I am on the computer all day at work, not the net but typing treatment plans and what not.
So sorry to hear about you possibly getting that. I've never had it, but I have had a lot of similar aches that prevent me from living a normal life. So, I have a lot of empathy for anyone with chronic pain. Hopefully, your wrist guard will help do the trick. Do not feel obligated to comment on my posts. Please rest and heal! Your painting project turned out very nice too.
Debbie -project looks great! you take care of yourself. Rest!
I hope you feel better soon! I think we all have some aches and pains from over doing it from time to time! I hope it's nothing serious! I mentioned you on my blog today! HUGS! ♥
Love the new white color. I hope you aren't getting that.
Hey Debbie,
I think I like this one even more. Make another, and it's sure to be my new favorite ;) LOL
Take care of YOU. It's most important. Hugs, Shan
Looks great and I love what it says.
Great idea ~ love the finished sign. I'm sure the repeitive motions of typing, painting, etc. could combine to cause carpal tunnel...not fun. Take good care! A dear friend of mine just had surgery on one arm and the other is upcoming. Just because she kept on doing the every day stuff and tried to keep working through the pain of computer work all day.

Oh, I love the signs. I think I might try that for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Great stuff!

PS>Take care of that wrist!
Your sign is very cute Debbie. I like the lighter one better. Don't worry about taking time off if you need it, but I hope your hands get better soon. I once had to slow down for about 2 weeks from shoulder pain because I was playing around with my blogging stuff all day. I've learned to take more breaks and slow down. Hopefully you will feel better taking some precautions too.
Cute I love it!
really sweet ! I love how it looks on your table!
I hope you're not getting carpal tunnel. I thought I had it, but mine doesn't hurt where most people do. Mine hurts on my thumb. Between the computer and all the power tools, my hands don't stand a chance! Good luck!

I love this project. Who would have thought something so simple and fairly easy to do would make such an impact? It is perfect! I am so sorry to hear about your wrist! Are there exercises or anything? Take care of yourself!
I love this, the color, the font, everything...poor thing with your wrists...good luck with the gaurds my friend
Cute, cute, cute! Hope your wrists get better. Hasn't anyone developed an app where you can talk and the computer types! I would LOVE to have that!
Very cute idea and love your color choices! Hope it is not carpal tunnel. Take care :)
This is such a great idea! Thanks for providing such an inspiring project! I love it!
Hi Debbie, I love the ideas of your use of the pallet to make this adorable sign, and yes it would be a great idea for Xmas, etc. Take care of your wrists:)
Hugz,
Kim
I love it! So simple, yet effective. Hope your wrist is better, without any big dr's bills..
you take all the time you need to heal.I often wonder how you do all you do.I'm sorry I can't share your love of sunshine,, it blinds me completely! I'm a downer but I like the rain.
Your sign is so simple, yet has great impact. You take care of yourself, girl!
Love it Debbie! You may just be getting custom orders for these soon. :-) So sorry about the wrist pain! I definitely have noticed an increase in my own arm tingling since I've started blogging. I hope it begins to get better soon!
Vanessa
I think you definitely need to slow down, Debbie. Take care of you. You're in my prayers.
Looks great Debbie! I have 3 pallets sitting in my garage just waiting for me to tear into them, but I have not had the time. Maybe I should send them down to you!
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
I feel your pain, literally. I have carpal tunnel. Wearing the wrist guard to bed works wonders!
Love the Pallet projects. : ).. Your crafts always turn out so well. I also hope that the Carpal Tunnel symptoms ease up for you!
These are charming, Debbie...very creative and original! Hope that wrist is doing better~ rest it!
Hi Debbie, I love all your wood pallet projects. Take care of that wrist.
love it...would also be really cute hanging on a wall..
Now that is cute! (And it compliments the placemats beautifully.)
Carpal tunnel is a pain in the you know what. I've had it for years. (My mom ended up having the surgery) It gets really bad for me at Christmas time. (too much wrapping, too much baking, too much everything!) I hope you get some relief with the guard.
I love this idea too, Debbie! Very well done!
I love this idea - may just have to copy it for my Thanksgiving table! I hope the wrist brace helps! Take it easy - we'll still all be here.
You really do come up with the best ideas my friend. Hope its not carpel tunnel. I have some wrist pain and know how it can hurt. I've used the wrist brace and it does help!
hugs, Linda
Did you say FREE?
I'm all over that! *winks*
And what an adorable project!
Ummm I'm loving those placemats too Debbie so I think YOU should send em on up to me! Lol! Your dining room decor is sooo cute for Halloween~! Oh and been there done that on the carpal tunnel. The hand brace is a good idea, they really do help, but because it just started with you take it easy and take a good anti-inflammatory and you might just head it off. Vanna
Oh, Debbie Dear, I'm sorry to hear about your tiny wrists and hope the wrist bands help. You take care of yourself.
Now your signs look awesome. You do keep those little dainty fingers busy! :)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
