Rooster lamp! {French Country home decor}

This guy was in need of a pick me up!  I love my roos, and I adore French Country decorating.
My rooster lamp, that I adore, and have had for sometime now, was crying in the corner, he wanted paint too.

In fact, very soon, this entire corner is having a makeover..thanks to my Mom..you will see why very soon.

I used antique white, paint and primer all in one by Glidden.  I was very happy with it.

Worked out beautifully! Lightly distressed..

aww Heck give em a new lampshade too.
Burlap one shall return someday, but I could not resist this one for 9.97 at Walmart, {bhg line}

Lots of fun changes around here to come!
and simply amazing!

{Can't wait to reveal this something  special}
While one roo was getting a makeover, my brush accidental slipped to another...
and white No less...

Oh boy, this girl is crazy with a paint brush in her hands!
Have a great day!
Thanks for popping over and saying hello, always kindly appreciated.

To funny, I saw that lampshade at Walmart today and almost picked it up.
I think you are certainly dangerous with a paint brush. LOL Do you dream about painting things in your sleep? I think the white is a great pop of color against the darker walls.
Great choice, and I can't wait to see what's next.
