Counter stools { Painted & stenciled} $50.00 stencil giveaway too!~

I think for the next week or so you will see some more stenciling projects over here.

After all I am hosting a giveaway, and I may as well show you how easy and how much fun stenciling truly is.
You remember some time back, the Rooster stools?

I redid these Last January.  They were super cute, and I really enjoyed them.
However, change is apparent around here, and it was time to freshen them up.
Good thing about painting and stenciling projects, is you can always redo them.

I used an antique white for the top, and a pretty spruce green for the legs.
I thought Christmas is coming and I love to change up per season, and I do believe these will go lovely with my Christmas decor.

I also used a dark wax, then distressed them.  As you can see a little of the red is peeking through.

Y'all know we are the foodie family, so why not declare that..
"To live well, is to eat well" Cheers to that my friends!
A little more plain than the first time around, but I have so much going on around me, sometimes plain is good!

Thanks for stopping by!
Always appreciate your kind visits and comments.

I love what you have done on those stools! Those must have been the very generic ones that you see in all the stores right now, but both of your re-dos are wonderful examples of how you can make anything very personal and great looking. I love that.

I love your new design on your stools. I also really like the color scheme you chose. Having wooden bar stools are so versatile like that. I had some before I replaced them with the metal ones and repainted them about 3 times!! I still have them in my basement in case I ever want to reuse them.

Love the green legs and how you are already thinking about Christmas decor! Ha! I am too as I need to buy a new tree. Our gorgeous 9 1/2 footer kicked the bucket last year after 8 years. Only 60 more days! Can you believe that?

Oh yes, to live well is to eat well.
Pass the cheesecake. And these stools are lovely. I think you're right, sometimes a little calm and simple is what's needed. And I always love text on things.
