Christmas decor, vignettes, nativity scene
Well hello there! I feel like I have been totally out of the loop here with visiting and catching up with you all.
I plan on taking some time tomorrow and the weekend to catch up.
I only have a few more things to show you related to my Christmas decorating.
To think it will be all down in a few weeks is just mind boggling to me.
We all work so hard to getter done!
I was practicing some of my candle light shots...as you can see I still need some practice.
I have had these three votives for a few years now. I purchased those at Bath and body works..they do look very pretty at night.
You see my pretty nativity scene? This was gifted to me last year by my Mother-in-law in from Buffalo. She hand made this back in the day when she took ceramic classes.
Apparently, it even won the award that year. I just love it.
Like my white feather boas? I think they add a very pretty softness to the nativity scene...
I am determined in 2012 I will find a piece to replace this outdoor garden table I have had for years.
It has served a great purpose for many years...but it's time to go...
Some rustic outdoor elements.
Until we meet again....
Have a great evening everyone, and thanks for stopping by.

Just beautiful Deb. I love the wreath, but most of all that nativity set surrounded with boas, perfect touch. I posted mine yesterday, take a peek.

Hi Debbie, I love the nativity that your Mother in law gave you. My mom made the same set I believe and it's beautiful as well. Thank you for stopping my and leaving your sweet comment on my "Angel" in the window arrangement. Merry Christmas!
Hugz,
Kim
Your nativity set is beautiful and the white boa sets it off so well. (Funny but I like your table.)
Slow down. That garden table needs to go right back out side by the fire pit as a server table or by the pizza over to set things on. Or a corner potting table for working on you pots. Outside it must go, as long as it's not to the curb. I know you will find what you are looking for. Isn't it fun to play with your camera and the lighting. Oh, that's right we haven't seen the sun for almost two weeks.
Such pretty pictures! I love those snowflake votives...very nice! Yes, the light shines through so pretty.
I remember you showing your nativity last year, and the great story that went with it. :-)
I wish you and your family a very Merry and blessed Christmas.♥
What a beautiful nativity scene. You are so lucky to have it passed down to you and it will certainly become a family heirloom. The boa looks like soft snow, a very nice touch:-)
Love, love the nativity, and it looks great with the feathers! I think your candle shots are beautiful too. Can't wait to see what replaces the table even though I love the table. Beautiful!!
Debbie it is all simply beautiful! I love to see the candles and the nativity is lovely!

Marianne :)
It is so special to have your mother in laws nativity set. It is beautiful! Your candlelight pictures are very pretty!

That nativity scene is amazingly beautiful! What a treasure! Your pictures are great! The best way to do night shots are to use a tripod and (here is the trick!) set your camera to timer mode. When you press the button, the camera won't take the picture immediately and you won't get the blur that can happen when you press the shutter button! Tips from Kat! Ha!!!
Cozy and warm nativity. The three votives are so pretty as well thegreen runner with Christmas tree is beautiful. All festive.
The table vignette is beautiful. I agree that the feathers add an ethereal look to your lovely nativity. That was a nice gift from your MIL. I love your style, Debbie! You are so good at what you do. Thanks for sharing it with us. I hope you will consider sharing your style at my Show & Tell parties on Wednesdays. You can find it at mrshinesclass.wordpress.com

I think you did great with the candlelight. I have a whale of a time. Of course, I have a whale of a time with trees too.
I love that nativity and actually love your garden table too. I can understand that you might be tired of it, but I love the look of it.
Same here with the visiting other blogs. It's about all I can do to get something posted amid all the Christmas to do-ing.
Love the wreath over the mirror and the candleholders. Looks like you are ready, but I am like you-to think it all has to come down!
Love the joy added to the wreath. The nativity is just beautiful in blue.
Wow! Your MIL is so talented! Love your nativitiy! Love the ethereal quality to it by adding the boa! Thanks for sharing.
Debbie, I cannot believe how beautiful the nativity set looks set off in those white feathers!! I know what you mean about having to take it all down after what seems to be only a short time. It's bittersweet- I want it to last longer!
I'd say your candlelight picture-taking skills are coming along very nicely, for this post is full of lovely pictures!
I just love your Nativity set. How wonderful that your mother-in-law made it! That's one of the most beautiful sets I've ever seen. :)
Your nativity vignette is beautiful, Debbie, and your candlelight pictures are gorgeous!

It all looks wonderful, Debbie! I really like your rustic garden table -- hope it doesn't go completely away...lol! The nativity is beautiful, & I love the feather boa.
