Christmas in the kitchen {Holiday vignettes}

Christmas in the kitchen! and sharing all my vignettes!
Happy Saturday gals!
I have aleady shown you the dinette area, so let's take a quick look on the other side.

Started with a craft...
I had this olden coffee sign I purchased at Marshalls some time ago.
It hung in the kitchen for a while.

Simply used chalk board paint, for the center,
red craft paint for the upper and lower,
a snow flake stencil,
and embellished with a foam large snow flake on top.

Easy peasy as I always say!

Of course I stenciled the Let it snow part as well, No way my hand writing would or could look like this.

Cinnamon sticks...

Spray painted my orange pumpkins, why waste them..
topped off with some glitter.

Mr. Roo needed a big ole pretty bow too.

Saved soda bottles from World market..
Love these things!

and check out my new vintage roo bread box, compliments of my Father -in-law!

He gives me the best goodies!

That's all Folks!

Blogging on the run here, I am pretty pooped out from all these virtual parties, and NOW
I have to physically attend a few!

Have a great day, see you tomorrow night for the newbie party.

Deb,
you kitchen looks so very pretty..
I adore the sign you made..

I had such big plans for mine and a few other vignettes but the ebay person who got her money in 6 seconds after my purchase on nov. 29th, choose to wait till the 7th to mail my items:( I doubt I'll have time now to do what I wanted to, as work hours will seriously interfer.
Part of mine was going to be a give away.. Sure glad I didnt post all about that cause I'd be mighty upset, more so than I already am..
May I ask from who did you purchase your stencil. I need a more reliable seller.
thank you

I like all the little touches. I'm still struggling with my kitchen this season. Love all my other rooms, but just can't get the right thing going in the kitchen and don't want to go spend more money when I have so many boxes of unused decorations. Very clever idea with the pumpkins. I moved my jack-be-little pumpkins outside too the patio but just couldn't bring myself to take that extra step and toss them into the woods because they are so cute and in such great shape. I'm going to have to snatch them back and glam them up for Christmas. What a great re-use idea. I'm like you - - can't stand to throw anything away that can be reinvented or upcycled. Thanks for sharing your pretty kitchen pictures.

Your little chalkboard turned out so cute. It looks good on an easel behind your sink. It of course, ties in with your snow theme too! I've got that same little wire 2 tiered stand. I love the small size of it. Most of them are so large.

Your kitchen is very pretty! The chalkboard is a great idea and the pumpkins too.

(Why do I never think of painting over things to make something new? Have you taught me nothing over the years? LOL)

Love everything that you have done. I have a rooster/chicken kitchen too. I'm in awe of the breadbox. When I was a child, our household dishes were the very same chicken (about 55 years ago). One day I was walking around in an antique shop in Missouri and found a few of the dishes and a bread bowl dish. I grabbed them right up and prominently display them. Thanks for sharing these delights.
