Newbie PARTY started...{early}

Sorry for the change of plans.  I know how crazy it is this time of year for all of us.  I have a lot going on, family coming, a trip planned, blogging commitments and all kinds of Fun stuff!
I still wanted to host the party and figured I could squeeze it in early.

Change of plans around here! Newbie party will start early!

Hi there everyone! 

Things are crazy around this place! I have to put my newbie link up tomorrow.  I have a special review that I need to post on Monday, so stay tuned for that.

Fall porch decorating Part II {Newbie party started}

Did you really think I could just stop here with my Fall porch decorating?

NOPE, I had to take it up a notch, and spruce it up a tad more.

That was then, and this is Now...

I found some White pumpkins at Michaels for 50% off.

 I of course had to embellish them a bit...

Bats, spiders, mice...

The mice are these rub ons, not thrilled how they crackled, but it makes them look aged I suppose. The bats, and spider embellishments came from the Dollar tree.

I found these RATS at  the dollar tree as well, thought they were cute!

If Rats can be cute.

The windows, also got a little touch of mice and spiders.

These are from last year, the Martha Stewart line.

What would Fall really be without a  little plaid and apples?

Just a few leaf color changes so far on our Japanese maple.

Now that I am finished with Fall decor on the porch, I must transition into Halloween now.

Crazy week in our house! My older boys schedule this year is insane.

Poor kid does not get home until after 9:00 pm, three nights a week.
(He is in the Marching band and practice is pretty intense)
  Alex is totally loving life and loving High School.  Such a joy to hear him talk about it with so much enthusiasm.  

Life is good!

Speaking of good...the Newbie party this past week was AWESOME.

Pizazz on the porch

Since it is a porch ande deck party, I thought I would join in over at Kim's.





I never have finished showing you our front outdoors how it all came together for me. 

 You already know I am a big fan of blue. 

So of course it is brought outdoors as well. My latest and last spray paint project with my blue was these pretty garden flowers.  They were originally brown, then yellow and now a happy blue.

Here is my my paint canvas, as you can see many colors are on here. Some of you may recall this yellow from last year.

Newbie party started!

Good day, or evening depending where you are! 

We are here today!

 As I was hoping we would be,

 because I have some unfinished business to take care of..not sure what it is, but I just know it is something.

Yesterday in the midst of our continuing clean up, I decided it was a good day for a little impromptu end of the world party.  So I had Alex invite some his friends over for pizza and ping pong, and I also invited some of our friends over just for munchies and drinks.

FUN, FUN, FUN...those are always the best parties, the ones not planned.

I am just sharing  some pictures of clean up, our anniversary, and my pretty roses.

I have not much creative to share with you these days...

I see a slow down in the future, which is fine, perhaps that will give me more time to actually be creative and come up with some fun stuff for you.

Newbie parties will continue throughout the summer...those are a MUST!

Date night for our Anniversary celebration.

 It was so FANTASTIC! We went to Zinks in Charlotte, NC. Great meal, great conversation, and a lot of laughter.

Spring into scents! Newbie party started!

Hey girls! Hope you all had an awesome weekend!

I sure did. Had my first Scentsy party on Friday and it was a HIT!

I wound up having about 19 girls here.

All new as well to the Scentsy product.

Thought I would share how I set up my party.

It was cute, fun, and different. Perhaps if there are any reps reading this, I inspired a new idea for you.

Each scent falls into their own category...so I thought I would create

cute little vignettes.  I bought the bunnies at the dollar tree and I just made the tags.

I will say the girls loved it when they walked in.  It's all about cute presentation, according to me.

The box that held the catalogs actually is a Scentsy box that the product comes in.  I wrapped it with pretty paper.

I even had little Spring trees with the tags hanging from a branch.

Hey remember my Spring in a can?

Tulips are gone!

I love sunflowers.
