Did you really think I could just stop here with my Fall porch decorating?
NOPE, I had to take it up a notch, and spruce it up a tad more.
That was then, and this is Now...
I found some White pumpkins at Michaels for 50% off.
I of course had to embellish them a bit...
Bats, spiders, mice...
The mice are these rub ons, not thrilled how they crackled, but it makes them look aged I suppose. The bats, and spider embellishments came from the Dollar tree.
I found these RATS at the dollar tree as well, thought they were cute!
If Rats can be cute.
The windows, also got a little touch of mice and spiders.
These are from last year, the Martha Stewart line.
What would Fall really be without a little plaid and apples?
Just a few leaf color changes so far on our Japanese maple.
Now that I am finished with Fall decor on the porch, I must transition into Halloween now.
sneak peek at the Halloween mantel...
Let's get this NEWBIE party started!

Your porch looks fantastic, Debbie...So warm and inviting! Can't wait to see what the Newbies come up with this week!
Do you have neighbors or deer who might come up to your porch for the apples? Maybe the mice will scare them off.
What awesome decorations, Debbie! You're porch looks so cool!
Your porch is so inviting and puts me in the Fall spirit!
Okay you all are motivating me. Your photos are so wonderful and inspiring. I have never decorated for fall. Now I am going to do so next weekend for sure. I love everything you have done to get ready for the holidays. My excuse has been I live in the tropics so we don't get fall colors. But that's what Michael's is for. Thanks for hosting the party. Next month is our last month as newbies. I am not going to know what to do with myself on Sundays. Actually that is not true...I will continue to support other newbies. :-)

P.S. Mentioned you.
Thanks for hosting, Debbie. That stadium blankie on your porch sure looks cozy! Can we come over and curl up?? :) andrea@townandprairie
Your porch looks so warm and festive and just perfect for fall! I have not been by to visit very much recently, but I promise to change that.
Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
Your porch is absolutely gorgeous. I also love your brick house. The bats, mice and spiders are all so cute. We don't get many young ones in our neighborhood since we live in an area with maninly retired people. Just not enough young ones to enjoy a lot of Halloween decor. I love the apples and the mums too. So pretty. Great porch. Hugs, Marty
Love all your fall details, even the mice! That plaid blanket hanging on the rocker is a great touch.
Your porch looks beautiful! Those rats are so funny - I bet my kids would love them! I haven't even started my front porch but now that October has arrived I feel like I am behind! It was so warm in September that it was hard for me to get in the mood. It was chilly today though so it finally feels like fall! Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
-Shelley

Your porch looks so inviting. I just want to come and rock the afternoon away on it, while reading blogs on the laptop and having some apple cider! Really like the throw, crate, wreath, etc. I have porch envy. ;o) Wish I had a space like that to decorate! When I did, I didn't do it justice.
p.s. And I couldn't agree more a/b word verification.

I love your white pumpkins with the black spiders, bats and mice on them! That's such a great idea. I've never seen that done before. Your porch looks so welcoming (except for the rats that would greet me going up the stairs) Ha! Actually, I love that idea too. It's unexpected. I just now got some bright yellow mums to put in my hanging basket and will get some pansies later today. Slowly but surely it's coming along.
