Well hello there! Hope all is well!~
Today I will share a quick stenciling on furniture project that I did a few weeks back.
If it feels like I have been out of the loop all week, well I kinda have been.
Just trying to get my house and family back in order after the two weeks off for Christmas break.
I feel like once I sit down in front of the computer, it is hard for me to break free and get done all I need to around here.
So, I took the time to do just that.
This piece I have had in the corner was a real steal around a year ago...
But you see the purple roses, have never been my favorite..
Definitly has the Country french feel...
Time for a change..
You may recall I have used this recipe several times before...
You may view those
here
I purchased it at hobby lobby for just a few dollars.
I used antique white with primer in it, purchased at Walmart..
distressed the piece slightly...
then just used a craft paint and rolled the recipe words.
Easy, fast, cheap fix!
Enjoy the Newbie party.

I really like this,
I love steniciling. I love how yours turned out. Thanks for hosting!
I like the idea of stenciling a recipe. And I see your burlap pillow is on display! :)
Nice job! I have had pieces of furniture I wanted to experiment on in the past, but figured I'd ruin a good piece if I messed up. I enjoy seeing others' furniture redos, but am hesitant to experiment myself. Have tried different things in the past, but was not thrilled with the results.
This is my very first week I have not been eligible to participate in your party! I took several months off when going back to school/work this fall. Over the Christmas break I tried to give my blog some attention (which I LOVE). The time I spent on my blog over the Christmas break gave me a few new followers and put me at 104. I am so thankful for that but will miss partying with Debbiedoos! If not for your party, I probably wouldn't have half of the followers I have today. Thank you so much sweet Debbie!! You are one of a kind.
LOVE IT !! deb, we understand...family always comes first !! And trust me i know how it is..I have the same issues around here and trust me ...my house is still torn apart...and now the hubby is coming home with a new bed frame and ...no where to even store it right now...we will be making a major move soon and its all a mess around here..but i still have to find time to drop in and see what your up too..you are such a major inspiration to us all..hope you get everything under control and have a great week !!
What a fun change. I love how fearless you are when you redo a piece. I wish it would rub off on me!
I've felt out of the loop too. I guess getting back into a routine takes a little time.
Nice update! I love how you're always changing things up. Thanks for sharing.
Oh it makes me want to have a MUFFIN.. :) Such a CUTE idea... This would be GREAT on a Linen Dish Towel and give as a Gift!!!.:) LOVE IT!!
Debbie, you come up with the cutest ideas! You never cease to amaze me! Thanks so much for hosting this great party!
It looks SOOO much better. The floral didn't do it for me either!
You did a great job! (go figure!;>) xo Diana
The muffin stencil is darling and think how much a shop would charge for this.
Very Nice! Thanks again for the invite! Love!
Yea, that is better than the flowers.
Hi Debbie! Your stenciling is such a fun project! Enjoy your evening! I'm off to visit a few of your links! Hugs! ♥

Glad to see you took a break too. We must take care of ourselves first. This fog is slowly lifting and glad to see it is around there too. The way I figure, you will always be there when you are ready. You are the wise one, my friend.
Love the recipe on the cabinet. you did good girl.
Like this so much better than the flowers!

Hi Debbie Dear!! Oh, you are so good! Love what you did to your little chest and you are becoming the whiz kid of stenciling! I can call you a kid because I'm old enough to be your mother! ;)
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
You are so right. With cleaning up after Christmas and having everyone home, it's hard to find time.

WHOOO, I thought it said 381 comments!! I nearly passed out! I happen to love all of the vibrant color of the original--I love that about your home too--colorful just as you are! However the new job does look kindof like a shaker piece, now doesn't it!
That piece looks so cute. I liked it before, but even more now! Looks like a great "Newbie" party, so I'll have to come back & snoop.

Debbie I would have never thought to do that with a recipe. I like how it turned out.
Debbie, I'd be glad to add a "button" to my blog if I knew what that meant. :) Bear with me! I'm a newbie!
Thank you for giving this newbie a wonderful opportunity to meet other bloggers. I love your blog and all of your great projects!
Debbie, I am just so thrilled with what you do! It felt so nice to be featured by you last week...thanks for all of the attention. I started to link up a brand new project and realized how perfect it was for the copycat challenge so I had to link something else. I cannot wait for that challenge!!! Hurry up 23rd. But thanks, for the link up and all.
